I had a small safe as a piggy bank when I was a kid (still have it) and I’ve looked the past few years for one similar for my boys. The ones I found were cheap looking so I never bought one. When looking this year I found this safe and it came in different colors Which was a plus. As with a previous review there are a couple of issues that better documentation would eliminate the confusion but I’ll still give it 5 stars as it wasn’t too hard to deal with. 1. Don’t use voice mode. When you activate it every button push the voice says “enter code” like it didn’t recognize what you hit until it gives you an error after the 4th button is pressed. Best solution for this is for it not to talk every time but at a minimum explain it in in the instructions. 2. It's confusing how to change your code. Took a few tries to figure out you had to press “and hold” the button when changing the code. Again, an easy change to the documentation will correct this. General observation, If you forget the code, removing the batteries will reset it back to the factory default which for kids is nice. Didn’t have that with my plastic combination safe. Latching mechanism seems sturdy enough. The dollar bill loading mechanism works nice. The bank is a nice size and larger than the one I have from when I was a kid which makes it better. Most importantly, both boys loved it and they now have a nicer place to store their money.

Very cute and easy to set up

My 8 year old son was wanting a safe/bank, after looking at many options he/we decided on this one (he had to buy it with his own money) He loves it. It's simple to change the passcode (he was playing with his sister, giving her hints, then when she unlocked the safe he'd change the code and they'd keep playing) This is obviously a children's toy, (not going to keep older children or adults out if they want in) you can reset the password to default '0000' by removing the replacing the batteries, so no worries about forgetting the code and being forever locked out. My Suggestion to the maker, would be a tray/shelf near the top, so when coins are placed in the top slot, they collect separately from the cash and toys in the main bank. (to clarify, this bank has no separate compartments, just one 'big' open space, I would appreciate a drawer or shelf as an optional divider)

These piggy banks are great quality, my kids have been earning chore money and putting it in the piggy bank. They can create their own special code and the safe stays locked. It’s a great way to teach money saving, earning and responsibility. They are durable and have different kinds of colors.

Í purchased this bank for my grandson. He loves it! Once he opened the box, he really liked the golden color. He enjoys pushing the buttons and adding money to the bank. He’s so proud to have his own money and a place to store it.

Overall good safe and the kids are very happy with it. However, the actual compartment is a bit smaller than what I was expecting, but my biggest complaint is the noise! Every time you press a button it beeps, and when the safe opens and closes it plays a little jingle. The beeps are unreasonably loud and you are not able to control the volume. Why does everything, even something as mundane as a safe, need a sound?!

Does NOT rip bills! My biggest worry when I got this but is super pleased. On the inside of the door you can change the sound. Some side will play like wheels on the bus which is kind of anoyying but good for kids. Other side makes not music but still sounds when you put your code in. Love this piggy bank and if you forget password. Just chef batteries and it resets!!!

My 7 year old son loves this money box - it was one of his favourite Christmas gifts. He was so excited about being able to set his own secret password.

Haven’t opened it yet but think it’s a great idea to encourage the kiddies to save
