My friend has a Weimaraner that is the size of a Great Dane. Who loves to happily chew and tear up everything. He'll pulverize a set of auto mats in no time. He loves to sneak in our backyard and pick up the ears of corn meant for the bunnies. But he will eventually eat what he chews if you don't take it away from him. And he will puke it up/get an upset stomach. So it's hard to find him something safe, that won't make a huge mess that will eventually have to be cleaned up later. Other than Benebone. I was searching for safe chew toys for huge @ss dogs and came upon dropped antlers! I spent over an hour two different times looking at SEVERAL different sellers on Amazon, and different brands on Pets Mart and Pet Co's websites. And even "googling". For the actually huge antlers, the price was always $40 to $50 and above. Even $85! For something to try for the first time, I'm not going to spend $50. But I'm also not going to be cheap and get a smaller sized antler (meant for a much smaller sized dog), that would be easily swallowed by a huge dog. I read SEVERAL reviews from the other sellers on Amazon claiming huge antlers. But when they arrived they were actually much smaller, and some even without the tips being sanded down. Hearing about outrageous prices at the brick and mortar stores. I bit the bullet and ordered this one to see if it was really the same size as described. Since it advertised free returns. This seller also had 100% positive reviews which is rare. All of the customers confirming its size. And to my amazement it was! It's huge! It's totally, for sure, large enough for a behemoth sized dog! The label says this antler is for a 45lb-90lb dog. Our friends dog is OVER 100lbs! And this is still big enough for him! I am super impressed and happy with my purchase! I almost want to buy one just for me to add to my rock collection. All of the edges were sanded down smooth, no pokey parts. There were 3 spots with the softer bone marrow showing. Making a safe chew not to instantly chip teeth on the rough outer bone/antler. The bone actually did look like a naturally dropped antler as it was lighter in color from bleaching from the sun. I am excited to hear if the dog loves it as much as I do! 5 Stars!!

My 190 lb English Mastiff has been chewing on this for months as still very little signs of wear. I bought one for my German Shepard grand dog too! Excellent product for your aggressive chewer! Great price too!

Within 5 min. of chewing on the antler, my dog (Boxer) is hacking and coughing. It's been 24 hours now and he is still hacking. (He only chewed on it for 5 min) I'm not sure if it is because there is a chemical in the product or the few pieces he was able to chew off are splintering? But it is not good!! Not a returnable product😡

Just what our dog needed. These are for the dogs who are frequently wanting to chew. Seems to be good quality and is perfect for our 55 pound 1 year old dog! After 3 weeks the antler has a lot of chew life left!

This is the second antler that we have purchased from this distributor, and while we were quite pleased with the first delivery, this one is seriously disappointing. The photos were taken today, only 9 days after delivery. There is virtually nothing left of the antler and I have had to clean up significant messes each day since we got it. The first antler lasted almost 3 months and made virtually no mess at all. This one won’t make it to 2 weeks and has been a nightmare, leaving white “shavings” and pieces all over the house. I felt like we got a great value on the first one, but feel like this latest one was a waste of money (just under $30 including tax). UPDATE - We have updated our review to 5 stars (up from 1 star) as we were contacted by the distributor immediately after submitting our feedback. They refunded the charge and apologized for the quality of the product. This type of customer service is almost as important to us as the product.

2 nd time I received the top end of the antler. Way to narrow to give to my aggressive chewer. We have to cut off the narrow part making this a waste of money. This part should be cut off before selling. I have gotten the opposite end where it thicker also to be fair. My dog loves these and I purchase these frequently. I seem to get a better one with the next size up (the largest size) but it’s also a lot more expensive.

I've never had an antler smell this bad. When I first gave it to the dogs there was just a mild smell like any natural chew. After they reached the inner section of the antler (3 days with two working on it) it got so stinky I could smell it across the room. I'm not sure if something didn't dry out well because the antler is so thick (over an inch in most spots) or what. Other reviews mentioned the smell but I was hoping it was just a couple people that got a bad one.
