The Skytime Portable Basketball Hoop is a sturdy product with various thoughtful design features. The rebound plate works well for enhancing the enjoyment of solo use. Assembly was straightforward. The adjustable height and slam dunk safety guard make this hoop a source of fun for varied users. Its not the cheapest hoop in its class, but it’s a solid option for portable basketball fun.

This is not the cheapest hoop on the market, but it is impressive. As a solo builder the instructions were easy to understand. I think a few of the hardware pieces were mislabeled, but it was easy to figure out. The hoop didn't want to stand without the weight in the base, I put 2 bags of sand in ours. I recommend making sure the sand is completely dry before filling as damp sand made it a bit difficult.The height adjustment feature is very easy to use and will allow the boys to play and switch it up depending on the height of the players at any given moment. I like the safety guard at the bottom to prevent dunk attempts from ending in the hospital. The plastic is very sturdy and with our barn as protection from the sun it should last years.Final Word: This was such a win even Great Grandpa is playing basketball instead of golf.

Overall not bad but the backboard is terrible. It’s like a stretched out garbage bag that’s how thin it is. Absolutely zero characteristics of a real backboard.

Overall it is OK. It is noticeably less robust than our previous hand-me-down brand name version but for my younger kids it will be fine. Not sure that I would recommend for teenagers or adults.Dock 1 star for lack of hinge on the rim. I am not sure why the rim mounting has springs since there is no hinge. Maybe good for absorbing some ball impact but certainly won't do anything for a hard dunk. The rim tubing is thin as well. Much thinner than I am accustom to seeing.Dock 1 more star for the base... the plastic base is thin so time will tell how well it holds up.No star deduction, but the net itself is a lightweight nylon not the heavy rope style in more heavy duty brands.Assembly was easy. Instructions are very clear. The wheels make moving it around easy as well. The adjustment mechanism is smooth (for now) although mine only goes as low as 6 ft, not 5.5 ft as stated. I did not measure, just going by the marking on the adjustment shaft.I think this model is fine for light to medium use but I am not sure I could recommend for hard play.

So far, I am impressed with this basketball hoop. It is a lot more 'heavy duty' than I was expecting, which I'm very happy with. I live in an area that gets all kinds of weather and seasons, so I'm looking forward to having a hoop that isn't going to come down with high winds (when filled with sand, of course). I also like that it is adjustable so that my kids can also shoot on it, and the rebound plate is a really nice feature to keep from having to chase after the ball. I'll update this review if I encounter any issues with this hoop.

I'm using this portable basketball hoop for my own personal use for my and my childern to play. I feel that the price is reasonable for the product I received and compared to others on the market. The basketball goal was simple to assemble once I had everything laid out and read instructions. I would say that the material used to build is a good quality material. The height is adjustable which is a aweso.e feature. The size is perfect for me and my younger family. I like the addition of the ball return plate. I am overall satisfied with it performance and would highly recommend for its unique design and durable build material.
