Featuring a dense 1.4" thick fiber base with a sleek medium gloss black finish, it integrates patented full-frequency isolators proven by the National Research Council of Canada to dramatically reduce structural vibrations and resonance. This results in clearer, more detailed sound reproduction by minimizing microphonic noise and external interference, making it a must-have for discerning audiophiles and professionals seeking peak performance. ## Description Top shelf isolation for delicate gear named after sitting meditation practice The IsoAcoustics zaZen II is a stable isolation platform made for turntables, tube amplifiers and other sensitive gear up to 40 lbs. The ZaZen II features four integrated isolators - combined with the mass of the platform protects delicate devices from structural vibrations and other external interference. Essential for sensitive components such as turntable stylus. The IsoAcoustics zaZen II is a simple and easy way to get the best performance out of your gear possible. Better isolation for enhanced sound clarity. The IsoAcoustics zaZen II is one of the most effective isolating platforms you've ever seen. Built around a high density 1.4" thick fiber construction base and combined with IsoAcoustics patented acoustic isolators for superior gear separation. Especially useful for turntables. After all, Review: Expensive but well worth it. Any reduction in microphonic vibration is helpful. This sits under my streamer. That sits on proper Hifi stands. And to my ears, it makes a difference. Some say it’s ‘snake oil’ but if you don’t believe me, ask most of the designers of top end Hifi equipment. Some go to extraordinary lengths to isolate the sensitive electronics from vibration. It is that important. A lot of folks put their turntables on this and appear to be very happy with the results. Review: I was dubious that this platform could deliver the sonic benefits to justify its price, but it does. The low turntable surface noise that I was getting at high volumes is gone. Just inky black silence in the quiet parts. Highly recommended. ## Features - 17" (432mm) wide x 15" (381mm) deep 1.4" (34mm) thick Holds up to 40lbs (18.1kg) - The zaZen II from IsoAcoustics is a stable insulation platform designed for turntables, tube amplifiers and other high-sensitivity audio equipment. The ZaZen features an elegant medium gloss black finish over a dense fiber structure, providing an ideal combination of visual and acoustic design to complete the IsoAcoustics platform. An important factor is the integrated isolator that uses IsoAcoustics patented isolator - LOW NOISE FLOORS: Combined with a high-density platform and integrated isolator, it creates high level isolation, turntables and electronic components deliver peak performance and better acoustic clarity and detail - ISOACOUSTICS ISOLATION PATENTED: Tested by the National Research Association of Canada (NRC). IsoAcoustics award winning design provides excellent separation performance. Rubber and foam isolation products isolate in a narrow frequency range, but IsoAcoustics isolation technology is more effective and works over a full frequency range - Record details clear: stylus navigating small variations in vinyl gloves is a delicate process that is very sensitive to vibration. The zaZen platform isolates the turntable from the supporting plane, greatly reducing structural vibration and resonance, improving clarity and detail ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B08JMFB26T | | Amazon Bestseller | #171,480 in Musical Instruments ( See Top 100 in Musical Instruments ) #1,607 in Recording Studio Acoustical Treatments | | Are Batteries Included | No | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 4.4 out of 5 stars (70) | | Date First Available | October 17, 2020 | | Item Weight | 1 Kilograms | | Manufacturer | IsoAcoustics | | Model Number | zaZen II | | Product Dimensions | 48.1 x 38.1 x 0.25 cm; 1 kg | | UPC | 810514000973 | ## Product Details - **Brand:** IsoAcoustics - **Item Thickness:** 34 Millimeters - **Material:** Rubber - **Product Dimensions:** 48.1L x 38.1W cm - **Recommended Uses For Product:** Improve the sound quality of your turntable or audio equipment ## Images ![IsoAcoustics zaZen Series Isolation Platform 17"W x 15"D zaZen II (Up to 40 lbs) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61HzfmN2PhL.jpg) ![IsoAcoustics zaZen Series Isolation Platform 17"W x 15"D zaZen II (Up to 40 lbs) - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61Sk4BKjvbL.jpg) ![IsoAcoustics zaZen Series Isolation Platform 17"W x 15"D zaZen II (Up to 40 lbs) - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71lmIwpqvBL.jpg) ![IsoAcoustics zaZen Series Isolation Platform 17"W x 15"D zaZen II (Up to 40 lbs) - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71z2AE3-f6L.jpg) ![IsoAcoustics zaZen Series Isolation Platform 17"W x 15"D zaZen II (Up to 40 lbs) - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71FMn+bC7lL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review *by A***E on February 2, 2024* Expensive but well worth it.
