With the built in intelligence this is easy to use and fool proof. I've used these now three times to help out other drivers in the parking lot when their batteries have died. No more jumper cables, no more possibility of crossing wires and causing a spark shower. You connect, see the green ready, and start the car. They hold their charge, and we "top off" once a year to get from 90% back up to 100%. I now have one for each car.

This is a must have if your car is over 3yrs old since they have been cheeping out on making decent car batteries, unlike those of a decade ago. It was a no brainer to jumpstart my 4yr old car when the battery went dead from sitting at the airport parking for 9 days. Glad I had this in the trunk.

Great power. Great value. Works great, jumped my car multiple times on a single charge. Bought one for each of the cars in my driveway.

The starter gets five stars. I’ve taken a star off for two reasons. First, the instructions could be more clear. There are both a USB and USC inlet but nothing explains their purpose or capabilities. Second, it comes with a double ended USC charging cord but no cube to plug it into a wall outlet. What I ended up purchasing is a USC cube for my car’s 12v (cigarette) outlet which allows me to recharge the jumper immediately after use. Otherwise, it works perfectly and I’d buy it again if I needed another.

Il prodotto si presenta con un aspetto curato e una dotazione apparentemente completa, ma l’esperienza d’uso reale non è stata all’altezza delle aspettative. La sensazione generale è quella di un dispositivo più orientato al marketing che all’affidabilità concreta, con prestazioni che risultano altalenanti già dopo poche settimane di utilizzo. L’avviamento del veicolo, che dovrebbe essere il suo compito principale, non avviene sempre in modo immediato e richiede spesso più tentativi, anche in condizioni non particolarmente critiche. Questo genera una certa frustrazione, soprattutto considerando che si tratta di un accessorio pensato per situazioni di emergenza, dove rapidità ed efficacia sono fondamentali. Dal punto di vista pratico, i cavi e i morsetti non trasmettono una grande solidità e tendono a scaldarsi più del previsto durante l’uso, dando l’impressione di una costruzione non proprio robusta. Anche il display, sebbene visivamente gradevole, risulta poco leggibile alla luce diretta del sole e fornisce indicazioni non sempre precise sullo stato di carica. La protezione esterna sembra adeguata solo sulla carta, perché il corpo del dispositivo si graffia facilmente e non dà una sensazione di particolare resistenza nel tempo. Nel complesso si tratta di un prodotto che può funzionare in situazioni occasionali, ma che non ispira la fiducia necessaria per essere considerato un vero alleato affidabile da tenere sempre in auto. Il rapporto tra prezzo e prestazioni appare sbilanciato e, alla luce dei limiti riscontrati, ci si aspetterebbe una qualità complessiva superiore. Non è un acquisto completamente da scartare, ma sicuramente non rappresenta una scelta convincente per chi cerca sicurezza e continuità di rendimento.
