ARB X-Jack (Off-Road Vehicle Recovery)

I used my XJack yesterday deep in the Sonoran desert to change a flat on my 3” lifted FJ Cruiser. It was in soft sand and off camber.The highly experienced and prepared off road drivers with us were highly impressed with the XJack’s performance.The is a long due solution to a heavy and unsafe high lift jacks. I have had the stitches in my hand and door dents to prove it.Three people are best to operate the XJack. One inside on the gas, one on the tailpipe with gloves and one holding the XJack air bag to get it started inflating straight.A flat end on you tailpipe really helps. You can do it alone and with a DC pump, but it’s harder.

Innovative product that is a must for your expedition vehicle. It is very common to get stuck on uneven or unstable terrain where a standard jack is not an option. This baby tucks into tight spots and has a large footprint keeping it from sinking into the ground. The fact that it can be inflated via compressor, air tank, foot pump or even the vehicle's exhaust is nothing short of brilliant!

It works to lift my 7800 lb van. Much safer than a litttle bottle jack, even if all you're doing is changing a tire (which they say you shouldn't do?)
