Care Instructions | Tips for Achieving the Best Rocking Results 1) Positioning: For optimal rocking, mount it as high as possible on the stroller handle. 2) Speed Adjustment: Gradually increase the speed until you discover the ideal rocking motion. Remember, the best rocking may not come from the fastest speed; often, lower speeds yield a pleasant rock. 3) Weight Consideration: Keep in mind that the weight of the stroller will influence and alter the rocking motion. |

Mounted it to a bassinet and it works wonders!
We were looking for a way of rocking baby's bassinet at night, without having to spend $1,600 on a Snoo. We gave Rockit a try and it's just fantastic. Attaching it to the bassinet was no problem at all (as long as the bassinet has some sort of an upright rod to attach to, you're good).I was initially worried whether this is safe to use for a bassinet, in that the product description only mentions strollers, but the Rockit is not in the bassinet itself and to the best of my knowledge I can't see why it would be unsafe (the rocking is strong enough for baby to fall asleep but certainly not so strong that baby would be turned, destabilized etc). You can check the guidelines yourself but I couldn't see any sleep rule that would be violated by attaching this to the outside a bassinet. Now we calm him for a few minutes, put him in the bassinet, turn on the Rockit and go to sleep. It's magical! So far the battery life also hasn't been bad, we've been using it for about a week. But that seems like a common problem based on reviews, so we're cognizant of that. Still worth it for a good night's sleep even if it becomes a problem :).Snoo & co might still make sense for you if your baby has real trouble sleeping, but for us, the Rockit is perfect, and only a tiny fraction of the price. Getting a second one for downstairs

HE IS FINALY SLEEPING!
Ok..THIS IS AMAZING! This is the ONLY thing that can get my 2 month old son to go to sleep and STAY asleep in his bassinet! I want to get another one! One to keep on his stroller and the other to keep on the bassinet! You can adjust how fast you want it to vibrate and it’s PERFECT! It’s small and can fit in my diaper bag, easy to snap on and off, AND IT WORKS TO HELP MY BABY SLEEP! Buttttttt it takes battery’s....and they die fast when you use this product every single time you lay your newborn down for a nap. They should make it with a usb cord charger! Because as it is now we have to replace the batteries every 3 days and it takes 4 batteries!!!!

Promotes sleep
My daughter had colic for 4 months. And this is the only thing that helped her sleep. She could not stand being anywhere other than inside my arms. And it was hard to get anything done when I was holding her 247. So being able to put this on her little crib helped her sleep so much without me having to hold her. And the amount it shakes. It's amazing the performance on this thing. I would highly recommend buying rechargeable batteries though. Because it does go through batteries pretty fast.

Meh....
I bought this because I thought it was a unique product. Pros: neat concept and it can be adjusted to work with a stroller, manual bouncer or bassinet. Cons: HEAVY, like really heavy. I am not sure I would want to deal with this strapped to the stroller getting it in and out of the car. Clip that holds it on is really hard to unclip, so be aware of that. Super difficult to replace the batteries, which died after about 6 hours.

Not happy
I love this product idea. It worked great twice but the battery dies almost after every use. The batteries are so hard to change. You need a very small screw driver. It is very annoying. The most annoying part is that they just came out with a rechargeable version. This item isn’t cheap. I’m very mad that I just bought this item and now there’s a rechargeable one.

Genius product. Life saving. No exaggeration.
We have been saved from our fussy sleeper of a toddler by this NASA-derived technology. It's a bit of the future teleported into the present - a marvel of engineering and baby behavioral modification rolled into a tiny space-age package. It is absolutely genius and we're truly saddened these are apparently no longer being sold on Amazon (perhaps due to overwhelming demand or the global chip shortage or constraints in cross-ocean freight shipping). We strap this rocket to our stroller and the baby sleeps -- it's a miracle. Before buying this gizmo, I would wear out a pair of shoes every week while walking him to sleep. No more! At a press of a button, he falls into deep content slumber. Absolutely amazing this can be accomplished without implanting electrodes into baby brains.

Does what it's supposed to; could use improvements
UPDATE four years later: We ended up literally putting the rockit directly on my baby and it worked! She fell asleep! And that is the only way besides holding her that we were able to get her to fall asleep. Now using it for my newborn son (using it the way it was intended this time - attached to something) and it helps rock him to sleep even when nothing else does! So, despite the zip tie needing improvement, I've updated to five stars because this has saved our babies' sleep (and our arms and backs!). If rocking your baby is the only thing that will get them to sleep, try this!Original review: One of the only places my baby will sleep is in a moving car. I was hoping using this with her carseat would mimic the movement of a car and calm her down. Unfortunately did not work for us. However the Rockit does what it is supposed to do - it provides a more rigorous vibration than a vibrating chair, and there are three different intensity settings. The design is very cute. However the zip-tie mechanism that secures the base to the stroller/carseat/etc is really hard to take off. You have to have another person hold the button while you push the tie up in order to pull it out. I tried getting in touch with customer service about this issue, because the first time this happened I really thought it was stuck, but their website does not offer customer service for USA. I also messaged them on Facebook but did not receive a response.
