Can you connect a wired subwoofer?

Thank you so much for your inquiry. We are sorry, but the HT-A9 360 Spatial Sound Mapping Dolby Atmos®/DTS: X® Home Theater System doesn't support a wired subwoofer connection. An optional 200W wireless subwoofer (SASW3) or 300W wireless subwoofer (SASW5) is recommended if you want to enhance the overall bass sound quality of the system.

Unfortunately, no. The HT-A9 360 Spatial Sound Mapping Dolby Atmos®/DTS: X® Home Theater System doesn't support two wireless subwoofer connections. We can only connect one subwoofer 200W wireless subwoofer (SASW3) or 300W wireless subwoofer (SASW5) to the unit.

Thank you so much for your inquiry. Yes, this Home Theater System needs to be plugged into the wall outlet. It comes with an AC power cord (mains lead) for speakers and AC adaptor for the control box. Any general speaker stands that support the following dimensions and weight will work with our HT-A9 360 Spatial Sound Mapping Dolby Atmos®/DTS: X® Home Theater System:

Mass (approx.): 730 g (1 lb 10 oz)

Additionally, the HT-A9 features a wall mount hole for wall mounting and a mounting hole for the general speaker stand. We also recommend visiting your local retailer to find a speaker stand that meets the size of these speakers and your stylistic preferences. When mounting the Speakers on a Wall, have the installation done by a Sony dealer or licensed contractor and pay special attention to safety during the installation.
