Delicious & Just as expected!
I love lupini beans! My family is Italian and I can remember my grandma always having a big jar of these every time I would come over! She taught me out to pop them out and get the tasty nutritious bean out from the skin! These Sanniti Italian Beans were just as I remembered and super tasty - the brine they are in isn't too salty and helps pack in the natural flavor of the bean! They were packaged really nicely with thick bubble wrap that had been wrapped a few times (I was a little worries that they would be broken as I've had this happen before on another product not from this place thought). Any-who, they picture does make the jar seem bigger than it will be, they were a little small when I got them, but this could have been avoided it I would have looked in my pantry for something similar to get a better idea on the size. They came imported from Italy so I thought the price was a good one for what they were. Thank you!

These are fabulous! As a young teen, I had an an Italian friend who introduced me to these! I have not been able to have them since that long ago time. Now, I have them again!!

Packaged well, tastes great
I was apprehensive about ordering based on the numerous pictures and comments about faulty seals, broken jars and moldy contents. But I took the chance and it turned out quite well for me. My order of two bottles arrived in multiple layers of bubble wrap enclosed in a sturdy cardboard box. After removing the bottles from the wrappings I carefully inspected the bottles. Both caps were indented, indicating the vacuum was intact. Inspection of the beans through the bottle showed no signs of mold of foreign particles. The metal rim of both jars show a little wear and tear but not enough to have affected the integrity of the seal. I received the bottles on 06/20/2024 and the best before date stamped on the lids say 03/17/2025. The taste was pleasant and salty. Quite different from the pickled vinegar taste I have had at a local restaurant. The beans were crunchy similar to the ones at the restaurant. All in all, I'm pleased and will be ordering these again (And trying other brands too. We love lupins!)

The labeling is wrong
I love lupini but the label from this brand is a mess. It says zero protein. Lupini are normally about 36% protein by weight, so that’s wrong. Also, it says that these lupini have one gram of carbs but 3 grams of fiber. That’s mathematically impossible as fiber is considered a type of carb. Also there is no way that 23 lupini beans only weight 15 grams. So I don’t trust the label but I still give it 4 stars because I love lupini and these are not terribly salty like other brands. I hope we can trust the ingredients too. Other brands also say 1/10 sodium benzoate and this brand does not.
