## Description

RUTLAND DryMix 211 is a fire-retardant mortar perfect for joining or repairing chimney bricks and masonry flue tiles on gas and wood fireplaces, wood, coal, and pellet stoves. Simply add water, stir and iron to seal and join brick and flue tiles. Does not require any heat setting (but more powerful). Meets NFPA 211 and NYSCMA Tek specifications

Review: Less water is more - Perfect for “pointing” in missing mortar in your fireplace. It drys fast so will not want to mix the entire bucket at one time. I used disposable solo cups to mix a little at a time - less water than you think you need. After pointing it in, sprinkle some ashes in the surface and it will totally blend in to your old mortar.
