Does l. gassari bnr17 work differently from plain l.gasseri? thanks

According to Dr. William Davis’s book, Super Gut, the BNR17 strain can reduce waist size by about 1” over 90 days. It can also reduce symptoms of IBS, blood & urinary levels of oxilate which can lead to kidney stones. This bacteria takes residence in the upper GI tract as opposed to the colon & is a virtual bacteriocin powerhouse effective for SIBO & SIFO. All studies are preliminary. Make yogurt with these capsules according to the book’s directions. It’s delicious! Take them with you when you’re not able to make yogurt.

Does this have biotin in it?

No, it does not. The main ingredient is a probiotic (Lactobacillus gasseri). In the “other ingredients “ list there is nothing remotely indicating biotin.

Will it hurt it if I store it in the fridge? I’m worried about it getting too warm in the cupboard or drawer

Refrigeration will not harm L. Gasseri. Microwave & heat will kill. L. Gasseri can withstand heat up to 109 degrees according to the book Super Gut. I ferment L. Gasseri for 36 hours in my Instant Pot at 109 degrees to make yogurt according to the books instructions, and it comes out fantastically delicious! Storing the capsules in a cool dry place would be beneficial.

If it doesn't require refrigeration, then it's live. Those that do require it are affected by transportation, unless in a cold pack
