Effective and easy to install, especially with the help of a hair blow dyer
The second floor kitchen sink is directly above the first floor bedroom and the kitchen plumbing noise used to be annoyingly super loud. Although these pads won't eliminate the sound entirely, they significantly reduced the sound to a more tolerable level. (Also helpful: rubber sink mat and reducing the water pressure). I installed the pads to cover the entire underside (bottom and sides) of the sink, and therefore needed 2 kits. For improved adhesion, I used a blow dryer to heat both the target area and the pad. By doing this, I was also able to mold the pads around the curved edges of my sink.

Works Great!
Quality and super easy to install. Just remove backing and stick where you want it. Totally eliminated the cheap tinny sound on my newly purchased Kelty prep tables thin stainless steel top. Awesome product!!

Beats Ringing In Your Ears
The work well in getting rid of the ringing common in metal sinks. They stick well and cover the right amount of area.

Didn't adhere to a textured sink
The underside of our sink was textured so the mats didn't stick. However, I used duct tape on the sink first to create a smoothe surface, then applied the pads and they worked great. Deadened the sound quite a bit.

Alot less noise
I recently had a new modern style full size stainless steel sink installed in my kitchen. I knew that there would be more noise from this sink than in my previous solid surface sink. So I did research and found out about these sound dampening pads to attach underneath. Some of the reviews I read said that after just a couple days the pads fell off or didn't stick very well. I have had them under my sink for almost a month now and I have had no problem with them peeling off, or falling off. It has greatly reduced the sound of utensils hitting the sink bottom, it's great. For added protection to the sink I also have a sink mat on half of it. Maybe whoever had issues with theirs peeling or falling off got a bad batch or didn't properly clean the underside of their sink. Whatever their case may be, I can say that mine are still stuck where I stuck'em. Highly recommended for reducing the noise from stainless steel sink. Unpaid, unbiased opinion.

Prepare to use more tape - with UPDATE
I like that these pads came in smaller square sections so that you could cover different sized sinks adequately. However, they didn't stick to the underside of our sink very well. We used packing tape to hold them in place. Yes, they dampen sounds. So, here's the update after a year of using these sound dampening pads. What a waste. They won't stay on, even with extra tape. I would skip this in hindsight. Don't make the same mistake I did.

Should be magnetic
Unfortunately, it fell off the sink. Not sure why they didn't make it magnetic so it can guarantee to not come off against metal sink. The adhesive glue wasn't strong enough so it fell off from the bottom of the sink and got stuck to the cabinet floor when I try to peel it off it broke apart.

The Sinkology Kitchen Sink Sound Dampening works as promised as it minimized the drumming effect of the dual tub kitchen sink. The only dissatisfaction I had was that the product arrived slightly damaged but managed to piece it together.

My guess is that these sound reducing pads for sink bottoms may be an excellent and effective product, but i was most disappointed by the ones delivered today. The box was stained brown, clearly several years old, the backing on the pads also showed age stains on the edges, and the pads had begun to dry out and easily cracked when i began to use them. It is wrong to sell an example of a product that may be good, but that has been stored and gotten old over a long period of time. And these pads are not inexpensive. I would not recommend these unless you were sure of getting new product. Very upsetting for a Made in USA item.
