Plenty of adjustment room. Med size runs big
There is no doubt that this, or any belt can really reduce the pain you experience with a hernia. You can almost do everything - as long as you have the belt on ...I feel this belt runs large, so if you are on the cusp (even a little bigger than cusp), stick with the smaller size. You may run out of room trying to get the velco portions to match up. And, while I like that the groin strap is stretchy, it only adds to the problem of being too big if you're on that cusp.I've had several belts this year, and I feel they all (including this one) fail with handling the groin strap. While this one has the strap attached at the back of the belt (I like that), it then goes to the front, where it loops thru a plastic tab at the bottom of the pad, and then you velcro in place under your groin. Any time you go to the bathroom, it's such a hassle to get re-adjusted - especially with velcro , because you have to get all the way into your groin. Why does everyone think velcro is the only way to use a strap? Why not have a small male/female clips connector at the top of the belt. Adjust the belt to size once, and from that point out, just clip - right at your belt line. I get it, maybe it adds bulk, but I've seen plenty of small clips, it can't be that much bulk. And I'm sure the velco use also helps allow for flexibility in size, but you end up cutting the belt to fit anyway. So why not just use adjustable clips? Then there is no need for the snagging, never really fitting, velcro. This belt, like the others I've had, just seems like a short term solution. There must be one out there that isn't a hassle to wear daily.

Comfortable and well made, S/M size runs a bit large
I have the S/M size, which is supposed to fit 34 to 44 inches, but I think these run a little large. I have a 36” waist and have the belt set to the smallest adjustment, and it is snug but not tight. There is 12 inches of unused Velcro, so I have no doubt it will fit up to 44 inches without a problem. The belt is 2 inches wide, but the picture makes the belt look much wider. Two pads are included, which is nice. They are both the same thickness, one being only slightly larger than the other. Unlike other belts which have a pocket where you insert the pad, these pads attach to the back with a strip of Velcro. I prefer the ones with the pocket, as the pad is less likely to become dislodged accidently. The belt seems well made, and is about as comfortable as one of these things can be.

It's not only much bigger but it's designed for right side hernias only
If your hernia is on the left side this is not the truss for you. Additionally even though my waist is within the size that I ordered (S/M 34-44 inches) it doesn't close properly.Unlike others that we've used over the years there isn't enough of the loop side of the velcro so we couldn't tighten it properly. Even if we had been able to, it's clearly not designed for use on the left side.Adding to that the strap that goes around your waist being much thinner than the listing shows and to us it's a definite not recommend!

Extremely well made and completely adjustable. This is a great belt.
I've suffered hernias for over a decade including a few surgeries, so I'm very familiar with these hernia supporters. This is one of the best ones I've ever used. It's easy to put on and take off and it has pads that are completely adjustable so that you can hit exactly the right spot.It was easy for me to wear one all day and that is rare. The construction in this thing is top notch so I feel it is definitely worth the price.

good support belt
--WC Hernia belt for men inguinal hernia support belt Pain Relief With Removable Compression Pads Groin hernia truss Flexible Adjustable Groin Straps Left or Right inguinal Hernia Truss Brace-L/XL--We've tried a couple hernia support belts and this one has worked the best so far. It appears to be sturdy and made well. It comes with 2 different sized pads that are nice and thick. Various adjustment velcro areas add to comfort and compression. The design of this belt makes it so you can create some pretty good pressure and get much needed relief.

Provided needed support.
This really helped me with my problem. I had what felt like an inguinal hernia and needed support. I used this instead of balling a towel up and felt much better sitting.

Acceptable and better than nothing.
I did not quite get the hernia belt pictured. Mine seems a bit cruder. The plastic loop that the groin strap feeds through has some small sharp parts on it and for me it sits too low in the crotch than seen in the pictures... it causes some irritation. So far, its ok but too expensive for what you get.
