**Q: It it normal for the voltage to decrease over time? my new battery v decreases from 14v to 12v over relatively short time frame - bad battery?**
A: Yes, voltage will decrease over time.  Nominal battery voltage is 12.8V.  Charge voltage is higher, often 13.5-14.0V, but will decrease within several days back down to around 12.8V.  This is quite normal.

**Q: Can this battery power an air pump that draws 28 amps? I only need to pump an small inflatable boat once per battery recharge**
A: The 20AH battery can charge your inflatable boat once, but since the starting power of the air pump is relatively high, it is recommended that you use 50AH or 100AH battery
