I was very skeptical at first, but it's amazing for detangling even the most 4c hair. Obviously, you still have to be gentle with your hair to prevent breakage, but other than that, it is the best purchase I've ever made.

The best detangling brush I have ever tried. Previously I only used the Wet brush, which worked well. But this one is even better. I cannot brush my hair regularly due to a disability and thus end up with many tangles that take forever to get out. This brush cut my detangling time in half.
