good
Usually you expect modest value from pocket sized books on aviation. In this case the product is above average and the rating is good. Nice collection of unusual and peculiar planes.

Low Value
This book is only 76 pages long. Each aircraft gets two pages, one of which is a photo. The font is very large. It is much more entertaining.

This is a very small book
I had the original that had been damaged by a flood. I was very disappointed to find this was 1/4 the size. Same cover, same title. But minuscule.

An appetite wetter
This will set you on the way to hunting down the turkeys. Each entry is only short, just enough to wet your appetite or turn you off ready to flip the page. The book isn't big but is well presented and researched, just the thing for a quick peruse whilst otherwise engaged. It will spike your interest and you will want to know more about some of the entries, you can get lost for hours just because of this little book.

It's a Small Book!
I had expected a more generous size than its approximate 5"x8" format. The content is good, living up to the description.

Highly amusing
Harsh, but (mostly) fair. As a historian, I can't honestly disagree with the majority of choices made here, other than stress that in some cases the aircraft themselves were quite fine pieces of engineering let down by circumstances. In most, they were outright disasters that make one wonder exactly what posessed anyone to think they might be a good idea. Or even fly. If you can find a copy, grab it. It doesn't take up much space on the shelf, will give you a laugh, and a new appreciation of the difficulties involved in aeroplane design, be they technical, or in predicting future directions in aviation.
