No substance!
So disappointed. What a sad ripoff. I'll give you this, you certainly understand the marketing side of publishing. But you stole time I was so looking forward to with my grandson... Back to the racks to find something worthy for his next visit. :(

A book with a great lesson but a somewhat questionable job idea.....
A Future just for You is a really cute children's story. My son just turned 18 months a couple of days ago and lately he as been all hustle and bustle and does not really like to sit still for anything. I have always loved reading and would love to pass that on to my son. When my son was 9 months probably till about 14 or 15 months it used to not be a problem to get him to sit down in my lap and listen to a story. Unfortunatly that has changed and he hardly likes it anymore. On that note though when I got this book and picked him up to read it he actually looked at the pictures and tried touching the kids faces and while he wasn't perfectly still and attentive it was so much better than what he has been the past few months. I love this book for catching his attention. The artistic style used in this book is just a simple black and gray on an almost sepia toned background so it gives it that old comic book feel and look at least in my opinion. I love how easily the story flows together as well almost like your just going along with some sort of rhyme or sing song. The only thing I slightly question ok well completely question is the one page where it talks about cooking books for the mob. I mean come on I know its supposed to be unusual and unique jobs that are listed but this is not a career choice that should be shown as an option in a children's book. Who wants there kid to grow up to be a criminal??? Other than that I love all the funny jobs that are listed. It lets children know they can be anything they want no matter how silly it sounds as long as its something they enjoy. I think my favorite was the doughnut tycoon or space travel agent.I really appreciate and love the ending message of this story though. "You will be you" that is so important because if an older child is reading this they will get that little bit of confirmation that they are enough and it is okay to be themselves and every child, heck every adult needs to remember that at times. Overall this book is really cute and fun and has a great message I am just not sold on that whole mob page though.I can't wait to keep reading this to my little one and eventually pass it on to his little cousin or keep it in the family. I'm a book hoarder I already have a ton of books I'm passing along to my son from when I was a kid.I did receive this cute little story book at a discount in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion and review and all opinions expressed above are based 100% on my personal views and opinions of the story after having read it to my child.

Very cute story
This little book is so adorable. It is just longe enough for for youngest child. Even my oldest (6) will sit and read it by himself, I guess I can say it is great for for all childhood ages. The story is very cute and my kids enjoy reading each of the babies futures. My older child like to point out the babies that look older (like him), he also liked to try to read the story to me because the words are simple and larger to read. My little one just listens rather intently to the story. The book itself is great quality paper, nice and thick so I'm not too worried about the kids ripping the page easily. It has an antique feel to it that is very neat and different. The words are large and easy to read, and the story is short and to the point, not too long and keeps the kids attention for the whole book. The illustrations are very cute and remind me of old wood engravings. My kids really enjoyed this story, they would try to guess what each baby in the book would be when they grew up and then get super excited if mysterio guessed the same. After we read the book together, we sit and think about what sorts of things they (my kids) can be when they grow up. Mysterio certainly gave them some good ideas! Please note that I recieved this book at a discounted price in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinion.

A Nice Book About You
What a nice little book this is. It is made of premium quality paper, or should i say a cardstock type of paper which is very nice and heavier than most book pages.I love the colors this book is done in, it is black lettering and designing printed on a cream colored paper, i think these colors are suppose to be good for little ones eyes or they use to say it was, not sure about these days. All wording is very easy to read and the pages are full of cute pictures describing what is being told in the story. There are 16 pages, that is including the front and back pages of the book, the pages are not numbered but i personally see no reason why they should be.This is a perfect book to read to your little one as it is very understandable and interesting at the same time. A really nice book and i am very pleased with it, i will be putting this with my new grandbabies things so i can read this to them when they arrive.I received this book at a discounted price in exchange for a honest and unbiased review and that is what i have provided based on my own opinion of this product.

Great imaginative book teaching children to be themselves!
As a mom to many little ones who are eager to be read to and eager to read I am always looking for new books. I was drawn to this book as it isn't your typical fairy tale, princess, dragons, cars, plans or trains. This book is about you and what you can be.While ready this book to our 5, 3 1/2 and 2 year old they were very curious about what each child would be. I really liked how they talked about being anything including "no tradition " job titles.I found the pictures to be simple and minimal but still very cute. The pages are well constructed of s thicker style paper almost reminds me of card stock quality. Which for me is key as the pages won't rip easily, especially with curious little fingers. If you are looking for a different kind of read that will keep your child's attention this book is for you!Disclaimer: I recieved this item for free in exchange of my honest and unbiased review. My thoughts and opinions are my own they are not swayed by anyone.
