Medium Was perfect for my 4yo boy, he is a bit big for his age but for a 6yo I’d consider the large size minimum.

Q: What size for boys 8 slim

The costumes have a recommended size base on height, weight, and age. I used this information to order, understand that the product is some form of nylon - so there is a good amount of stretch to them. My grand son's fit perfectly, with a little room for growth. At the rate he is growing it will fit for six months...maybe, if keeps growing at his current speed he will be 34'4" and weight about 6,000 lbs. (grin).
