The DeadMat pro is 2.2mm thick and the DeadMat black is 1.8mm thick. Cut to size and shape The sheets come 250mm by 200mm and the rolls are 0.5m wide, The sound deadening is easy to cut, Simply use a pair of scissors or Stanely knife. Peel and heat On the back of the sheets there is a thin sheet to peel off, We then recommend using a heat gun (a hair dryer works fine), And apply heat to the butyl until it slightly bubbles then its ready to apply. Apply to the van Press the freshly heated sound deadening on the metal of the van and use a rolling tool to really press it into place, when this cool downs it will be attached firmly to the van. please note unlike our competitors with our product you dont need to cover the full surface of the van, just space out the sheets to stop and vibration. The only location on the van where you might want tot fullly cover would be the wheel arches.
