This system wouldn't be able to get down to a low enough angle for most straight razors. If you are looking at guided systems the Edge Pro and Wicked Edge systems will do straight razors. You can also do them on bench stones. The sharpener is able to wobble on the base by a few mm. Is this normal? Thanks.** A: Yes and it won't effect the sharpening. You can hold it in your hand if the wobble bothers you.
