There is probably not any significant difference. Just a couple of pieces and / or Graphics

Aren't some of the screws too short? We can't even lock the battery assembly

As he said sort the screws and make sure you are using the correct ones. The longest ones “by just a bit” are to hold the ends of the battery pack in place.

Erector sets are the best!

Too many toys these days can only be put together one way only or, even worse, just once. These kinds of sets can build all the premade designs or just screwed together into something new and creative. This one is well built and fun. I just wish that they sent a few more backup wrenches because we lost ours and are in a real bind! This is better than one-build lego kits and really helps build dexterity in developing hands. Get it and sit down to build with your kid!
