used the Blazing Brown shade of Glaze SuperGloss, and it did actually change my color — I noticed my dark hair took on richer tones, not just a shine boost. The fit for my hair type was excellent: it evenly coated damp hair and rinsed out cleanly. The ease of application was simple — apply to clean damp hair, wait 10 minutes, and rinse. I found the bottle a bit hard to squeeze (others have noted this too), but once you get it flowing it goes on easily. The clarity of color result surprised me: my brunette looked deeper and more vibrant after rinse‑out. It didn’t cover all gray hairs (not a full dye), but improved the tone and look significantly. Value for money: At the price, this is a strong option if you want to refresh and deepen your natural brunette tone without a full color treatment. The combination of color change + conditioning adds good value. Slip resistance / Grip for hair? More like overall wearability — the formula left my hair feeling smoother and less prone to flyaways. The texture afterward: soft, glossy, and manageable. One caveat is that effects may fade quicker if you wash hair often; some users reported results lasting fewer washes than claimed. Summary: If you’re a brunette looking for a at‑home gloss that actually adds tone (not just clear shine), this product did the job for me. I was blonde & went brunette a year ago so the color will fade and blonde will start to show through. I use this once every 2 weeks and it makes it feel and look so healthy + shiny and the best brunette color. Just put it in my hair before I shower and wait 15-30 min then wash my hair like normal. Lasts about 2-3 hair washes

so for the first time i used this product it made my hair exactly how i pictured it would look before i used it, it had a subtle hint of a chocolate cherry color with a nice shine to it and i used it a second time and for the first couple days it was really pretty but then i noticed my hair was suddenly really dark and i thought well maybe it was because my hair was just dirty but then when i got into the shower the water was a black/dark greenish grey color so then i was really confused because it was red previously when i washed it from the first use and then when i went to shampoo my hair the soap was a dark grey ish black color. idk what happened or why it turned out like this but the bottle said it was for brunettes and i am a natural brunette so idk why it turned my hair really really dark/almost black. i'm kinda 50/50. it's an okay product and on the plus side i think it lasts longer than most hair tints..

Left my hair cherry red!!! So upsetting I order the color chocolate for a brown tone on my virgin hair and left a cherry reddish color.

The product itself is a deep purple color, and that’s exactly the color it deposited on my level 5/6 hair. The end result is an unnaturally vibrant burgundy shade- definitely not “chocolate”. I gave it two stars because my hair is softer and shinier after using it.

I’ve seen reviews about this not being a good hair dye, not covering grays, staining their hands, etc. It is NOT a hair dye. It’s a glaze. I love it - it’s perfect. It darkens my hair without being a dye. It washes out. I can build the layers if I use multiple times in a week. I use it at the beginning of the shower and scrubbing some soap and water on my hands wash off the staining A no stain by the end of the shower. It does “stain” my hair towel when drying. Always washes out. Never stained my clothes or bedding. I have cream sheets and pillowcases, 100% cotton. I have chestnut brown hair and this gives it a little darker tint while leaving natural variations in color. I absolutely love this stuff bc there is no dye line when it grows out. It is a GLAZE. It’s PERFECT for that!! Note: I use chocolate gleam. I did buy the cherry once to bring out the red in my hair - it does nothing for me that I noticed. I think you really need to buy a glaze that is darker than your natural color for it to work.

Trying to get the product out of this bottle was hell. The gloss itself was nice but the packaging was a nightmare

Amazing and exactly what I needed. I have been trying to grow my hair long so I stopped using dye on my hair. I have dark brown hair that naturally turns very red/brassy. I wanted to cancel the red and keep a deep chocolate color without turning my hair too dark or damaging it. This worked so well! It also added shine. I recommend using a conditioner or mask afterwards because alone I feel like it could cause some dryness.

Honestly, I was so ready to write a bad review as I was so worried when I applied this as it really looked like a rich red colour and I was convinced it was going to dye my hair red as opposed to the dark rich brown advertised. My God, how wrong could I have been! There is a tiny smidging of warmth in certain lights but the colour is absolutely amazing, the condition, texture and let's talk about the shine!! I wouldn't have believed that this much shine could come from a bottle, let's face it its so rare that products actually do what they say but this one delivers and some! My only question is how often can I use it? I'm now a lifelong fan!

These glaze hair dyes are great, no mixing, pump was included and depending on length of hair you get a few uses out of one bottle, leaves hair conditioned and feeling great with added shine and revitalises hair colour, I use inbetween hair dresser visits, great value for money

Felt and looked lovely on but after washing out I noticed it damaged my hair. First strands went green and then the hairs dried and broke. My hair had no highlights from bleaching and I had used ash shades successfully before so I could not understand why.

I've been using this for a while but didn't realise I could save on shipping by getting from Amazon. I'm a natural brunette and this just ups the ante, adds a warm richness to my hair but without the damage of a full on box dye hair colour. I always get compliments after I use it. I use it in the shower after washing my hair, I squeeze out the water and apply. I like to comb it through to make sure it's even. (remember to bring the comb with you so you don't drip all over your bathroom like I always do!) I leave it for 10 or 15 and then rinse it out. I don't even use conditioner after as my hair feels so good.
