Great for transportation, great for catching big fish, very tall, casts very far even with the lightest throw. 10/10 recommendation, good price and perfect rod to use.

I purchased two of these sets for my Brother after purchasing a few single poles and reels for myself. My Brother is currently using them in Puerto Rico’s seas and likes the complete setup and convenance of them. He always has them in his car and is always ready to fish when he wants to. As for me, I also have my poles and reels in the car and can stop anywhere and go fishing. Just wish they sold the carrying case by itself.

I got this for the ease of taking it with you particularly backpacking and on my paddleboard. The line it comes with is trash but the pole and reel really aren't bad at all.

Unfortunately I didn’t get a chance to take a picture because ups came to pick it up the next day/today(convenient). At first the item was perfect!! The blue and black reel and rod was amazing! The cast PERFECT!! My husband was able to use it for about 30 mins before the rod snapped. We watched a lot of videos on how to care for and make telescopic rods last and regardless of how careful it just snapped. I really wish this would’ve worked out because it was beautiful and worked well at the beginning. Especially since this was his Father’s Day gift.

Nice reel and have even caught several fish on the tackle it comes with. Would recommend buying new line
