Diablo 3 Eternal Collection - Nintendo Switch

I already have this on my windows and Mac; and finished it twice on Windows and once on mac, but now I finished it on Switch too.I was skeptical, since I am used to keyboard and mouse; but with the joypad it works great. most of the game is really enjoyable, and I fell in love again with the grind that this game is so well known for. With the difference that for example, in Marvel Alliance 3, you are forced to grind, while here; you put the game on easy mode and you are plowing through enemies.The base "normal" level is very easy; at least for veterans; so I have the option between play at a lower easier level, or push to harder levels and get better gear faster and more XP and paragon points. This is something that games of few years ago would offer; before micro transactions and loot boxes with "XP boosters" and "time savers" were the norm.You want an easy game? Done. You want something so hard that you will cry? Done; same game, nothing to buy on top of your game cartridge.Graphics are quite good; got the random hiccup here and there; but so far runs better than other games; and looks better than other games. Given that the perspective is static, that helps. Sound is great, and overall it is a great port; as good as Warframe for example; and that is quite a feat, even for a game that is pretty old at this point.Gameplay is the same as the desktop counterpart; plus you can play offline, so you don't need a blizzard account. The downside is that you can't get your existing gear and characters; so you start from scratch, but it is not really a big deal. You can even create a seasonal character; so you won't loose much from the desktop version. Really happy to get this game again on the switch

I started my Diablo journey with the pc version of the original Diablo game many years ago when I was in high school. I bought this game for Christmas and have been playing it with my teenagers. There are several more classes available to play than the original that I remember. The gameplay is similar, but with many improvements. We played with three players locally/couch coop and had a blast. Graphics are decent on the Nintendo Switch. The controls were challenging to figure out initially, but did not greatly affect gameplay. I was specifically looking for a game I could play with my older kids. It is difficult to find decent dungeon rpgs for more than 2 players. This game was exactly what I was looking for.

It is too addictive, but so much nostalgic fun.

I’ve never played a Diablo game before but generally like this game. Graphics are as good as I expected but the game can be very repetitious. I understand that not everything can be different but there I times I find myself about to put the game down because I’m getting bored. Some pretty esoteric mechanics in the game that were not (as near as I can tell) actually addresses in-game. There are some crafting options in the towns that I don’t understand and haven’t bothered to lookup online. If it’s importantly relevant to the game experience, explain it or give me a tutorial...I feel like I’m missing out on a big power boost or something. Overall solid and enjoyable in small gaming chunks. Recommend as a good time waster.

"Diablo III Eternal Collection" so I can play D3 anywhere, on the go!? I'll take me a copy please...! With Diablo IV announced and chances of it coming to the Nintendo Switch are VERY HIGH I just had to pick this up! I know the game has been out for a while now but just like "Skyrim" and its a GREAT GAME and a MUST HAVE for the Nintendo Switch! I actually own Diablo III for PS4, XB1, PC and now the Nintendo Switch... I absolutely LOVE the game and the story.I know its no where NEAR as dark and gritty as Diablo 1 & 2 but its still a really good game to play either alone or with friends. With the couch co-op and the online co-op you ALWAYS have people to play with.And the Switch version looks and plays so good!I was really worried about those parts with a lot of enemies and all these people running around shooting magic and casting spells and all the craziness that the game would stutter and have high frame rates but I havent experienced any of those things...The game runs very smooth and plays AMAZINGLY well in handheld mode.If thats not enough the Switch version lets you purchase GANON armor! If you dont know who Ganon is he is the evil villain in the Zelda games.Im sure they chose to go with Ganon because he is a dark and evil character and Diablo is a dark evil game.Either way the game is awesome and it runs and plays great on the Switch and I highly recommend getting it!WHY ARE YOU STILL HERE!? GO BUY THE GAME ALREADY!!!!! :P
