Good kitchen tool, many uses

I know it seems silly to do a lot of research with tongs for the kitchen, but we’ve had ours for probably 10-15 years and they finally got a little rust on them. Wanted the simplest tool, without any extra stuff and remember, is that extra stuff that breaks, like the plastic handler or the silicone that ends up ripping later. This is just stainless steel. Two pieces. One connection. I love that these have rounded edges so if you touch this in your pan, it’s not gonna scratch. I have no idea who this brand is but I would definitely buy these again. It comes with two sizes — they fit in my drawer easy to clean. It’s not like those ones that want a spring back with a spring load. I don’t need that. I just need something very easy to use and these are perfect.

This tong is just fine, but I think the finger holes could be made bigger. It also seems where the tongs come together and are held together, I think that area should be lower. I do feel they will work fine. I’m not sure how grippy they will be.

We had some of these in a kitchen drawer for decades. It finally gave up. So, it was time to invest in a new one. My family made fun of me because I called them "meat tweezers". Seriously, if you need to turn a steak over on the grill or on the stove with hot grease, this is the way to go. No grease splatters all over the stove top. Just gently grab a corner of the steak and turn it over without making a splash. These seem to be made well. I anticipate the will serve us well for years to come.

These tongs are exactly what I need. The combination of shrinking in height and the progress of arthritis have created some problems. I will use the tongs to reach packages that are too high for my hands alone, and for wet laundry that is too far down in the washer. They should be a major problem solver.

I grew up with my parents using a pair link these. Over the years, I have used many different types but all had "issues" of some sort. Picked up this set, which comes with two sizes, and it works for my needs. From cooking fried chicken to bacon and anything in between, they hold the food well. Being all metal, they are easy to clean. Since they appear to be a decent quality stainless, I have not had any issues with rust or corrosion. They are simple tools and hopefully will last a lifetime.

Seems like a good product, I got what I asked for and quicker than expected.

I was looking for something that was solid as the standard available lifters are getting flimsier by the year to the extend they no longer work and they rust as they are so badly made

I will admit I'm a bit of a cooking freak. I don't go for gadgets or newfangled trends. I like my cooking tools to be efficient, simple to use and, most of all reliable. I ordered these tongs when the cheap ones I had been using crapped out a couple of weeks back. I was not expecting anything special but I figured they looked sturdy and, in that price range, I figured I had little to lose. Turns out, these things are amazing! I got a small cooking orgasm the first time I used them! They feel solid, they have amazing precision and keep you in control at all times. I cannot recommend them enough! Forget the fancy tongs you see everywhere. If you really like cooking, do yourself a favor and get these.
