The Mic Air works really well. I initially had problems pairing it with my X5, but a firmware update fixed that, I am now running v1.4.2 of the firmware. I tested the receiver with my An droid phone (Android v16), and it works well there too. There is an added benefit I didn't realize, you can connect two microphones to the receiver. Nice for doing interviews. I've been very pleased with the audio quality and the battery life. I recommend. The price is good as well. On the "cons" side, the microphone is very small and a little fidgity in large hands

I purchased this after seeing someone use it on TikTok & review it. I record movement videos in a location that has a fair amount of traffic noise & the noise reduction is quite good. I have a less expensive set of mics but the quality isn’t as good as this one. I feel price is good & the use time is quite good, even after 3+ hours of use. I like the small round size, it includes multiple options to attach/wear, a windscreen option & a nice little case to store it all. It does require a special charging cable that’s included. I also use this out on my beach walks & the sound quality of the water, birds etc is really good, even while talking.

I have owned both the x2 and the x3 . The step up was a games changer. But moving into X4 has been next level. When I can afford to go X5 I will but when it comes to microphones. I have gone through a bunch of them. One i was using was from a drone company but I had to tape it on and sometimes the colors would surpasss the invisible fold. But these, work with x4 air wirelessly and without a receiver even with the 360. It just hooks Bluetooth. I got the one with the receiver which is good for it can be used with other devices. I love the magnetic back and it seems strong as long as the fabric is too thick. Easy to set up and I have the 360 gimbal base as well. All making my videos to come out that much better. The only thing is, I like the x4 air, but most things are not comparable between that and the regular x4. Accessories are not as abundant on Amazon and getting a charger is more difficult. So far though, I love the camera and it’s the best yet and the microphone is just in genius!!

Sound quality is amazing. I love the feature that I can start and stop recording from the microphone from very far away. Must have for insta360 cameras.

Excellent audio. Good integration with the iPhone once the firmware is updated. Poor ergonomics for a solo operator. Face it, it's easy to drop and if you're operating solo, it's hard to clip on your own shirt. Poor battery management is my biggest issue. You cannot trust charging the battery on this the day before, and then having the full charge the next day you literally need to charge it up to the moment before you plan on using it in order to have a full charge. Lastly, they placed their logo and bright white on a black background so that when you're wearing it, it's very bold and visible. I ended up taking a sharpie and blacking it out. Please stop making me advertise your company with a bold logo on your actual microphone every time I shoot a video.

Excellent little mic for the money. I particularly like the fact that while I need to upload the app on my phone for firmware updates, I do not need to use an app to operate the mic like other brands.

Crystal clear audio. Easy to use and connects with my iphone and insta360 X5 camera. Perfect size and very lightweight. Battery life as described. Worth the money I spent. Functional and quality sound.

Love them , I’m really soft spoken so recording in my phone is a bit off I love these for capturing my voice better

J’ai récemment acheté le Insta360 Mic Air (1 TX + 1 RX) et je suis très satisfait de cet achat. 👉 Points forts : • Transmission sans fil fluide jusqu’à 200/220 m — je n’ai constaté aucune coupure lors de prises de vue en extérieur, même à distance. • Réduction de bruit efficace — le son enregistré est clair, net et professionnel, même dans des environnements un peu bruyants. • Polyvalent — compatible USB-C, donc parfait avec mon iPhone 17 pro Max. La connexion s’établit rapidement et reste stable. • Très simple d’utilisation — le kit TX + RX s’appaire en quelques secondes, et l’autonomie est solide pour plusieurs sessions d'utilisation. 👉 Petit bémol : • Un étui de transport plus rigide aurait été un plus, car les petits composants sont délicats à ranger, mais rien de rédhibitoire. Un étui rigide se trouve assez facilement sur Amazon. 💡 Conclusion : C’est un micro sans fil fiable, clair et facile à utiliser, parfait pour les vloggers, créateurs de contenu, live streamers ou interviews mobiles. I have Insta 360 X5, I had trouble pairing. Amazon customer care and product support is of no use. However, I was able to pair it with support from YouTube. It is an excellent product. The Voice quality is excellent
