Exceeded Expectations. What a deal!
After the first Crossrock case that I purchased a few years ago (a single which was flimsy and warped easily), my expectations were low for this case - but I needed something to hold two violins, and needed it on a budget. Amazon Warehouse had this case in black at a steeply discounted price, so I snatched it up and hoped for the best.I have yet to find a single imperfection, but what I can tell you is that this case exceeded every expectation I had. It is sturdy, with enough weight to feel like it will protect my instruments without being overly heavy. It has nice, heavy latches and reliable strap hooks. The handles are solid and attractive. I only use two bows, and the top bow holders seem to be placed well (I don't use the lower ones). I love this case, and I'm so glad I took the chance!

So disappointed
The latches on the case seem sturdy, as are the shoulder straps and attaching clips. Overall it would appear to provide excellent protection for my instruments. The down side: I was disappointed immediately upon removing it from the box: the beautiful finished has a scuff on it measuring seven inches by apx. 3.5 - this completely has ruined it for me. For the price I paid I expect far better.Update: The company replaced this promptly (thank you!) so I revised my rating to 5-star. I own three cases made by this company and they have never failed to give peace of mind to my instruments. The only drawback to the double violin case is that it leaves little room for anything else (should rests, pickup, strings, etc.).

well-made and elegant aesthetics.
expensive, but, looks the part too :) backpack is comfortable. glossy fiberglass shell is very attractive. I'll let you know about durability in 10 years, lol-- can't say right now.

Pretty nice, good looking . . . smelly
Dark blue single violin case. Wanted a hard case with enough room for a shoulder rest, and no zippers. We've had fabric semi-hard violin cases for a while which actually work very well except for the fully surrounding zippers which are incredibly annoying. So much faster to have two latches. Interior fit is quite good, velvet seems soft and protective. Hardware and finish seem first rate. It's fairly light, seems reasonably sturdy and crush resistant. I guess if you sat 150 lbs on it, it would probably collapse but don't really plan on doing that. Confident it will absorb whatever handling and bumping and even the occasional drop to onto a hard surface god forbid. The shoulder rest storage area is adequate, we have a folding Everest shoulder rest and a non folding Portland, and each one fits (not at the same time obviously.) First gripe: like almost all cases, the lid will only just stay open on a perfectly flat surface. I don't see why they can't make the flimsy keeper strap ever so slightly longer so it stays open at just a little greater angle. Or put a metal folding support in that would lock open. Second gripe: weird unpleasant chemical smell when you open it. Guess I will just air it out for a few weeks, hopefully it will go away. At $180 in 2023 it seems like a reasonable price for what you get.

Perfect Lightweight Case
For a lightweight case this one is perfect. Easy to carry and protects the instrument perfectly.

Reserving judgement for now - pros and cons
It looks good, the exterior probably won't hold up to abuse. The interior is well padded and can hold (2) full size 14" violins easily. I have a 14.5" 5-string that fits with minimal coaxing. I can get 2 bows, the 4- and 5-string and 2 different sized shoulder rests in there with some finagling. I was disappointed that there wasn't a blanket but you can see that in the pictures. What surprised me, and fortunately, I didn't force it, is that the bow holder twisty-bit for the two upper bows hit the strings below the bridge when you try to close the case! Oops. Poor design. If the top bow holders were opposite of the lower bow holders, it would close just fine. Since I only have 2 bows, I removed the twists. The latches close, but don't have that reassuring deep grip that make you feel secure. There is no center latch, so either trust that they won't pop open (I'm not so sure), or use the key to lock it if you're bumping around. The shoulder straps are killer - if the whole thing were as well built as the shoulder straps it would get 5 stars! It works well as a backpack (lock the latches), not too heavy, nothing is rattling around, so all in all, not exactly a bargain, but it'll do.

Great double violin case
I love my double violin case for 4 vows, it is bigger than I expected, but a great tool to store my violins. I recommend it highly! Very good looking, and quite sturdy, a bit expensive, and a bit heavy when it is packed with my instruments, but still a good product.

Very nice case
This is a well made, strong and attractive case. I regularly carry two fiddles in different tunings, and this case gives the instruments the protection they deserve. I do miss having a pocket for carrying paperwork, but otherwise very happy with the purchase.
