Kalkal Men's Deck Boots Anti-Slip Saltwater Fishing Rain Boots with Memory Foam, Waterproof Rubber Ankle Work Boots for Sailing (Size 7-14)

After too many hours researching all of these types of boots, I decided to order the Kalkal Deck Boots and I am very happy that I chose the Kalkal Boots over all of the other brands that are available on Amazon. I live in the Northeast, our weather is cold in the winter - hot in the summer and rains regularly. I have snow boots that I wear when the snow is really deep but I have been very pleased with the Kalkal boots on my trips outside to the Chicken Coop. You can wipe or rinse whatever you get on the boots right off very easily, they are deck boots so the soles of the boots are not deep tread and do not get filled up with mud and muck. In other reviews I have seen people complaine about the pull tabs being torn from the boot. The boots are rubber and neoprene (wetsuit) material, they are not leather boots that will withstand great force being applied to the straps. I would call the straps "hold open" straps and not pull on straps, the hold open straps work great and will last the life of the boots if you simply use the straps to hold open the boot while you step into the boots. After wearing for a while my foot almost slips right in without needing the use the straps. If you use the straps to hold open the boot while you slip your foot in you will not have any issues with breaking. The Kalkal boots are extremely comfortable, I wear them everyday and even forget I have my boots on, it's winter so I can't speak to the boots breathability in hot and humid weather. I will say that I have not had an issue with my feet being overheated when I forget to take them off when I go inside the house. I wear a mens size 9.5 and I ordered a size 9 and a size 8 (thank you Amazon Prime for your generous return policy), the size 8 was too tight for me but if you like a snug fit that would work for you. The size 9 fit just right in that I can wear a thick sock in winter and have warm/dry feet when outside and in summer I can wear a thinner sock without the boots being too big and have my foot flopping around inside the boot. I am very happy with my purchase of Kalkal Deck Boots, I would highly recommend them if you are in the market for this type of boot.

I am a woman cursed with bunions and phenomenally flat feet (both of which need eventual surgical attention). I spent the better part of the day researching online, on Amazon etc looking for the best budget (and stylish) rubber boots I could find to wear when I work in my garden. I was above all concerned about fit. These boot were just delivered, I just tried them on - w and w o socks. I’m a women’s 8.5 and bought a size 7. They have some spongy cushioning and removable inner soles. With socks, they fit sooo comfortably. The color is true to the photo (an olive green khaki w yellow trim. The box says “lime green.” (It’s not.))

I use these to walk my pets early in the dewy morning. Before, I'd wear boots supposedly waterproof, yet the grass dew would soak thru before completing our hour walk. I'm surprised at how much support they provide and yes, they are waterproof, so no more wet feet/socks in the mornings! The size maybe spot on, but my experience they are just a tad on the small side. My leg waders are size 9 1/2 and fit a little loose. My other boots are size 9 and fit perfect. I ordered these in size 9 and they are just slightly snug, not bad and I'll keep 'em. I believe 9 1/2 would be perfect but it's either size 9 or 10. Excellent and reasonably priced.

So far, so good, easy on and easy off. and the fit is just right, with room for my wide foot with a heavy sock on, pretty comfortable too. for a deck boot, always a fan of the memory foam insole. I don't know how well these are going to hold up, and I would like them five stars worth if they had a little less slip in the heel.

They fit my feet and are comfortable. I have big wide feet with bones that were broken and weren’t set properly (10 years of horses crushing feet) so it’s hard to find shoes that work for me. Tried several other brands, returned most. In the meantime I have blisters and scabs from few pairs that went on my feet but rubbed them raw in places. These boots went on, and aren’t hurting old wounds, aren’t causing more problems. Very happy! Bought ankle boots to ride motorcycle to work, and either slip off quick for work shoes if dry, or keep on at wet worksites. Same at end of day. They slip on & off quick. I hold boot edges to step into, put toe of other foot on heel (bootjack-style) to pull foot out - folks that wear paddock or cowboy boots usually know to not constantly strain tags and tiny areas of seams. You can, but physics - know they’ll get worn out there accordingly. Pleased with the job this manufacturer did so I can do my job. So far with the good results of this purchase, I’ll buy this brand again when these need replaced.

bought these for my husband who was going on a fishing boat trip in Alaska. He said he wore them every day and they were perfect for keeping his feet dry and warm (it was during the summer though), and preventing slips, and very comfortable.

I liked them a lot and are very comfortable but they only lasted about 6 months before they cracked and now leak water. I only wore them on the weekends so I wouldn’t consider them to be used excessively. Still searching for an extra tuff type of boot that lasts at least a year.

A great affordable option compared to Xtra Tough boots. Slightly narrow for my wide feet but very comfortable. You know you have a good shoe when you totally forget you're wearing them.
