New High density 14.4 volt battery
Value is a definite plus. Charged unit overnite before first use. Once in drill battery worked well drilling in steel tubing. It may be premature to make statement on battery life but it is a sure sight better than the originals which are now ready to be recycled. Rule of thumb is to not let discharged batteries lay dormant. Place in battery charger promptly at end of day.

Spent days running to Lowe’s, Home D, Ace just pick a place could not find the replacement batteries. Then came to Amazin Amazon get two pack for next to nothing and they work great & hold the charge on long duration. Worth getting if you’re in need of them!!Great product & customer serviceBill j

Battery works
Battery works and charges in the original station. However, the battery doesn't "click" into the drill so it will come loose during use. I just use a piece of duct tape, which is a bit annoying, but considering the price I'll take it.

Loose fit issue w VMART "knock off" replacement Ryobi battery. (((THESE ARE NOT RYOBI BATTERIES)))
The batteries themselves seems good. The problem is that the VMART knock off battery is a loose fit into the ryobi tools, and it tends to fall out unless you really pound it into the device. When working on the quick, taking out one battery and quickly putting in the other... that can be something one forgets. After a couple "fall outs" I started to remember to really pound the battery into place. This was never a problem with my original "Ryobi brand" batteries.

Works well
The batteries fit my drill and came fully charged. I have used them multiple times. Less expensive than buying a replacement drill.

You may have to file the bottom of the tool to get the battery to lock in place.
No matter what I did the batteries would not click in to lock the battery in to the tool. So I filed off a little of the plastic around where the battery slips in. Problem solved. Just don't file off too much. Other than than the batteries seem to be just fine.
