Are the power rail continuous all the way down? Customer pictures do not match the product picture provided by the seller.

Thanks for the question. Yes, the power rails are continuous down the entire length of the board. You may see some images not matching our current photos as we had some other companies trying to pass their boards off as BB830s so we updated our silkscreen last year to show our part number, brand, as well as change the power rail colors from Red/Blue to Red/Black so that visually you know you've gotten the genuine deal! How many amps is the board rated for at 12v?

Thanks for the question. The BB830 breadboard is rated at 36 Volts, 2 Amps. The current rating is due to the typical heating caused by the conductors (wires) and the internal terminal contacts.  A bit higher current and a bit lower heating can be achieved by using square post pins instead of round wires, and using multiple wires or posts to carry current to decrease the contact resistance.  It is important to keep the temperatures below the ABS heat distortion temperature which is 84℃. The voltage rating is due to safety concerns of work with hand assembled open-air circuits.  The actual breakdown voltage between terminals is higher.
