Mit einem altmodischen Trennrelais hatte ich immer Probleme. Entweder es hat die Zweitbatterie nicht geladen oder nur wenig. Die Batterie ist schnell kaputt gegangen. Dieses Gerät war schnell zu installieren auch für Laien kein Problem. Bluetooth funktioniert gut, und über die App hat man alle Informationen die man braucht. Zb. Ladezustand der Batterie wie viel wurde geladen .. Verbaut habe ist das Gerät in einen VW T4

Excellent. Much better than direct from alternator

I was surprised at how small this unit was compared to my Solar MPPT 100/50 unit (see photo). There are no heatsink fans on the back so I was worried that it would get hot, but it doesn’t. As usual, the VictronConnect app is where it’s at and it’s great to be able to see Solar and Alternator charging from the same place. Really excellent system. Previous to this I was just charging the leisure batteries (4 x 100Ah) from the alternator when solar wasn’t cutting it over winter, but it took forever to charge to 100% and never reached Absorption voltage. This however is a night and day difference in terms of charging in the way it controls the voltage and current when charging. True bulk, absorption, float and storage states means it charges the batteries quickly. Easily three times quicker than using the alternator alone - depending on state of charge. The entire Victron system is highly recommended. A+
