Will this battery work on a Craftsman rotary 4.8 volt .7ah battery

Yes! That’s why I ordered this unit. Fits my old Craftsman rotary tool.

This says it comes with a "C" battery (required) - where does the battery go? I thought this was a rechargeable battery?

Not sure why it says that. It's just a replacement battery pack for a dremel. Heads up that it doesn't fit perfectly into the charger for my original Drexel battery but it still works if you jimmy it in.

Does this fit for a 756-01 replacement battery?

Sorry,it doesn't.Our battery is fit for Dremel 755-01,750-02,Dremel 7300.

Is it really 3000mah? these packs typically use AA rechargeable w/tabs and I don't see 3000mah ones available for sale anywhere.
