Game-Changer for Fine, Fragile Hair
After years of using a Wet Brush, I didn’t think I would ever switch until I started experiencing unexpected hair loss over the past year. I recently learned that brushes with rounded knobs on the bristles can actually pull out more hair, which made me rethink my routine. On a recommendation, I decided to try the Tangle Teezer, and I’m honestly blown away by the difference it made after just one use. The first thing I noticed was how incredibly gentle it felt on my thin, fine hair. Normally, even with a detangling spray, I have to carefully work through knots with multiple passes. This time, it only took one pass to completely detangle my hair post-shower, no tugging, no resistance, just smooth, effortless brushing. The biggest surprise was seeing about half the amount of hair come out compared to what I’m used to, which was such a relief. I will say that a couple of the bristles were slightly bent when the brush arrived, as shown in the product photos. However, this didn’t impact the performance at all. Overall, this brush has been a fantastic find, and I’m so glad I made the switch. If you have fine or fragile hair, especially if you’re dealing with hair loss, this is absolutely worth trying.

Absolutely Amazing for Long, Fine, Thick Hair! Especially if it tangles easily.
The Tangle Teezer Ultimate Detangler Brush has completely changed my hair routine. I have long, thick, fine hair that tangles easily, especially after washing, and this brush glides through knots effortlessly without pulling or causing breakage. I was amazed at how gently it detangles, even when my hair is wet. It leaves my hair feeling smooth, soft, and much more manageable. The flexible bristles work through tangles quickly while being gentle on my scalp, making brushing a much more comfortable experience. If you struggle with tangles or have long, thick hair like I do, I highly recommend giving this brush a try. It's become an essential part of my daily routine, and I honestly can't imagine using anything else!

I originally ordered only one brush, but they sent me a four pack of the same brush and I had to double look on here to see if I ordered a four pack accidentally but I didn’t so that’s exciting because now I can gift the other ones to family and friends. The brand was super sweet for sending me a four pack because a lot of brands don’t do kind gestures anymore nowadays LOL. I used it on my hair for the first time today and it detangled and smoothed my hair incredibly well with zero tugging or pulling so it’s very gentle on the hair. However, I had a difficult time brushing my scalp area because I do have a lot of hair and I felt like the bristles weren’t getting everywhere on my scalp unless I put more pressure but so far I really like it and I do think it’s worth the money if you’ve been thinking about ordering it. The colors are very pretty too. Who knows, you might be gifted a four pack randomly as well because these brushes are expensive but I see the hype everyone talks about with this brush. Big thank you to this brand for the extra gifted brushes!

What the heck?
I'm coming up on age 64, here's some bonafides about my hair: * My hair WAS naturally dark blonde/light brown. I've been home-dyeing it red (warm red since 1998, before finally finding my perfect cool red just four years ago) Within 4 months of going cool (And LOVING it!) the grays started coming in (Of course...). Within a year it was like stray-gray whack-a-mole. After I retired I decided to stop with the red since I no longer had to consider co-workers asking "So... What's up with your hair?" I realized, though I may never have all-over gray, silver or white like I hope, I just didn't have the energy to fight anymore. So, like Elsa, I just let it go. *My hair length is midway down my back but needs about 4-5" cut off (I let it go, alright!). From the root to about 2/5 down it's silver over light brown with white taking over around my face and nape. I still have 3/5 length from the bottom-up that's faded cool red to let grow out and trim off before I can make any concrete decisions about what to do with whatever remains. * My hair is naturally wavy but it goes frizzy/straight when blown dry. So, I've had "problem texture" all my life. I have a lot of hair but I also have the kind of texture that makes it seem like even more when blown dry (Poof City). Meanwhile, my hair STRANDS are each thinner than cobweb filament. If I let my hair down, the slightest breeze creates chaos, with hair in my eyes and mouth - So I NEVER wear it down. And decades of dyeing equals decades of damage, I can't recall ever having shine or smooth hair, naturally, even before I colored my hair. I used to fall for every hair product gimmick. NOTHING made my hair look any different once it was blown dry. Until now. I ordered this wet/dry plastic bristle brush on a whim when ordering other stuff I needed. I expected nothing from my impulse buy (reviews were so positive... yeah, yeah...yawn). It was a month before I got it - but it wasn't like I was over here panting with expectation so, imagine my shock when I got this ordinary-looking tool, went to use IT on my just-washed hair, and had an incredible experience. I've used it on my wet hair four times, so far. But this is what I've experienced from each use: * Working from the tips to scalp, untangling all of my hair took SECONDS and was so EASY, * Compared to the comb, my bathroom sink had no broken off hair bits that I could see - and only a few naturally shed strands, post comb-thru. I really couldn't believe that. Still can't, * After drying my hair, I don't know how, but the texture is smoother and the overall appearance is MUCH shinier, even the grays! * The brush DOES seem to make my hair less POOFY and after I remove my chignon scrunchy my hair IS a bit flatter - BUT the overall effect is hair that's far more controlled than chaotic, and the curls and waves are surprisingly... glam, without effort. Literally NOTHING else about my hair care has changed. I'm using the same budget shampoo/conditioner (brand/formula/cost, has never made any difference) 6 days a week and violet shampoo/mask (to brighten the look of my incoming grays) on day 7. All that's changed is the switch from comb to THIS BRUSH. Every time I let my hair down in front of the mirror I think, 'How can this brush do all this?' It just doesn't LOOK like anything special. I highly recommend this brush for anyone - but especially people who use any chemical treatments, battle frizz, have long hair, damage, or wiry grays. THIS BRUSH surprised me. It might surprise you, too.

Great hairbrush
Great hairbrush. I have thick curly hair but as I get older .y hair is thinning. This brush takes the tangle, helps with my frizz and overall hair health.

Great Brush for Thick, Long Hair
This brush works great on long, thick hair! I’ve had it for a few months now, removes tangles and not a single bristle has bent or broken. It’s easy to clean and gentle enough for kids’ hair. Definitely happy with this brush! I own 3 now!

Gentle on Fine Curly Hair
I absolutely love this brush. I have very fine, curly hair, and it glides through my hair much more easily than many other brushes I've tried. It helps detangle without causing a lot of pulling or breakage, which is important for my hair type. One of the things I appreciate most is how gentle it feels. It doesn't yank or tug on knots the way some brushes do, making brushing much more comfortable. I also love the colors and overall design of the brush. It looks nice and feels well made. The price is definitely on the higher side, but after using it, I think it's worth the cost because of how well it works and how gentle it is on my hair. Overall, this has become one of my favorite hair brushes, and I would happily purchase it again.

Love it!
Surprisingly durable and good for thick curly hair. I’ve been looking for a new hairbrush for over two years and this is the first one that can actually get through my hair better than my veteran brush. It doesn’t tear out hardly any hair and it’s very easy to clean which I love. Comfortable to hold and light enough that I can use it to start my hair. It’s a cute pretty bush color and it’s a bit shiny. Good quality brush, and I love that it’s meant for use on a variety of hair types. In pictures, the left side is unbrushed and the right is brushed. Just to show my hair type and how it looks after brushed through.

Not as good as we have from before
Ok brush but not as nice as their original brushes were. They don't feel as comfortable as original.

Best brush ever
I have been using Tangle Teezer brushes for as long as I can remember. I originally used the detangler without a handle for almost 14 years, until I decided to buy the one with the handle because I have really thick curly hair and many times I have experienced detangling my hair, the brush getting stuck on a knot and flying out of my hands 😭 I also loved the baby pink colour. Now that I have this one, I’m never going back - while this is perfect for detangling (which I only do in the shower now - curly girl tip!) I have found that this brush works best for styling for me personally. I’ve tried the Denman, I’ve tried that flex brush, but I always go back to my trusty Tangle Teezer - it separates my curls so perfectly and makes them look so smooth and pretty! Get this if you have thick curly hair, it’s so worth it as it’s so versatile!!
