I have been using this dye for 8 years, I am very happy with it. It covers white and gray hair. The colour is really beautiful, easy to use and has no smell and has not caused me any itching. I will continue to use this brand.

I used Herbatint for many years as I became allergic to regular hair dyes and all the nasty harmful chemicals within them. Great coverage, severely grey areas a little more stubborn to take. However, a great natural alternative ALWAYS patch test 48 hours before using as even the best of us can be allergic to even natural things

The coverage was great, no sign of greys or previous colour. I hadn't coloured my hair for many weeks prior to using this but oh boy did it take !! So much that initially, my hair looked black.. I left it on for the recommended time and am now trying my utmost to reduce the colour and lighten it.. My hair is soft and feels great... but this depth of colour just isn't for me with fair skin.

I bought this dye shortly after finding out I was pregnant. I had lots of highlights and chunky face framing bleached bangs that were just growing out way to fast and I didn’t want to 1: have to keep it up my entire pregnancy and 2: have increased exposure to bleach, dyes, fumes during my pregnancy. So I decided I would just get everything back to my natural color (or as close as I could get it) that way I wouldn’t have to keep touching it up every few weeks when my roots started to show. I knew a one time due job was a minimal risk to my pregnancy but I still wanted to find a product that was as natural/least harmful as possible while still providing adequate coverage of all the bleach work I’d done and this met both needs! I already have pretty sensitive skin so I was already used to the usual burning/itching scalp from leaving color or bleach on for processing.. and all the fumes being stuck in your bathroom trying to diy!! This dye has absolutely NO harsh chemical smell, it honestly smells pretty good! That right off the bat, made me feel really good about using this product while pregnant. The recommended processing time was a little longer than most boxed dyes I’ve used before but I had ZERO discomfort, burning or itching from having this product on my scalp for a long period of time. The pigmentation is great, even on the spots where I was fully bleach blonde and even after over a month of washing, it’s holding up. It was a pretty perfect match to my natural color as well so I can’t even tell if my roots have started to grow out. And even if they did, I would feel totally comfortable dying again with this product while I’m still pregnant. I had some minor staining on my skin where some messiness occurred (I wiped them with a damp cloth as soon as I noticed them but I could still tell there was discoloration) but after showering to wash all the dye out, I had no marks or darkened scalp from where the dye had sat. I also had no staining on pillows or bedsheets even though I went to bed with my hair still a little damp. Overall, this dye checked all of my boxes and even the new boxes I’d added for hair treatment while pregnant. 10/10 would use again and would recommend!

Excellent product - does not aggravate skin and I can use for root touch up 5 or 6 times. Don't apply it to entire hair shaft if you color frequently - it will (as all colour) build up and leave your hair feeling dry. So only use on roots. Great on grey hair.
