Feels like it is using more than it does
Can a low-flow shower head be as good as a regular shower head? This product proves that it is. I bought the shower head because we live in Las Vegas. Our primary water source comes from Lake Mead. Lake Mead water is at historic lows. We could run out of water sometime in the future. I wanted to find a way to conserve as much water as possible. I also wanted to save a good amount of money on my water bill.I originally found low-flow shower heads when I discovered the Moen Nebia. It seemed magical that it could give you the same shower experience while using less water. I wanted to buy it until I discovered the price. It is $212 for the cheapest one. I found that pretty outrageous that it cost as much as a brand new smartphone just to save water.I discovered this product while browsing on Amazon, it is the same exact concept as the Nebia. It is supposed to save Water by restricting the flow. The price is way cheaper than Nebia. About 13 times cheaper. I Decided to buy this because it is very affordable and also includes the 10-year warranty. I first tried the product today and it is very enjoyable to use.For starters, the design looks unusual to say the least. I like the metallic, chrome look on it is way narrower than other shower heads, but it still looks pretty good. It kind of looks like a tuna cactus fruit in my setup. The design is very subjective, but I don't mind it.The build quality also feels better than decent. It is all plastic, but it does have some heft and doesn't creak or flex when squeezing it, which is good. The best part when it comes to its build quality is that when you turn on the water and turn it off, it doesn't drip water. This is a step up compared to other shower heads. This means it probably a high quality valve or seal mechanism. I have noticed however that it doesn't keep a straight spray and it kind of Wiggles, which is unusual but not a big deal.Using this product is amazing. It uses 0.5-1.5 gallons per minute, which is way less than the average shower head that uses 2.5 gallons of water. Despite that, however, it feels like it's using way more than that. It was able to give me the same experience as my old shower head while using less water. It was the perfect amount of pressure, and the distribution is very even. This just proves that you don't have to sacrifice comfort to save waterThe pressure is also higher, which is surprising. That can be a good thing depending on your water pressure. If you have a higher than average water pressure than this thing might feel like needles. I have an average water pressure oh, and this thing gives me the perfect amount of pressure. Most of the time, I use the 0.5 – 1.0 setting, since it is adequate for me. The 1.5 setting is a little too much pressure for me.Overall, this is an amazing shower head that's going to save money and water. It is just as comfortable as any other 2.5 GPM shower head, while using less. The building is sturdy enough to last a good amount of time. The design is subjective but doesn't look bad. There are no sacrifices of this water low flow shower head except for the design. Anybody one that cares about saving their water bill and the environment should buy this. It is the same price as other shower heads. I have a good feeling this is going to pay for itself in about a couple weeks.

Save water, save money, no compromise.
Wow! I cannot say enough fantastic things about this shower head! I try to tell as many people about this thing as I can. This has 3 settings, 0.5gpm, 1.0gpm, and 1.5 gpm. Installation is so simple that anyone who can get their hands above their shoulders for 5 minutes should be able to do it. You might need an adjustable wrench to add a little tension, but that's it. This arrived with 1' of white plumbers tape, in a clean recyclable package.Once the unit is installed, it's ready to go. You can adjust the water setting by twisting the black ring to one of the three settings, even while the water is running through it.At 0.5gpm, this thing gently soaks the user in a shower of rain, although it's a little bit less than what you'd need to shampoo hair. If you can tolerate waiting an extra minute to rinse though, this will save a ridiculous amount of water. At 1.0gpm, (preferred setting), you can easily shower and rinse shampoo. The force of the water is mild, however, the conical spread is narrow. At 1.5 gpm, this thing feels absolutely drenching. I don't typically use this setting, but it works well when you need to shower because-you-overslept-and-now-you're-late-for-work. The force of the water is fairly strong, but nothing that should cause skin irritation.I have been using this for over a year now, and after turning the setting switch thousands of times, it hasn't failed or leaked yet. I am truly impressed, and as soon as this breaks, (if ever), I will immediately purchase another.Oh, by the way, compared to a 2.5gpm shower head, this thing will probably cut your water heating bill down to 1/3-1/2 of what it is now!

The Lowest GPM, But Poor Body Coverage
I so wanted this shower head to be great. It is the only one I saw that goes down to 0.5 gallons per minute (GPM). It works fine in general, and with my small 60 Amp electric tankless water heater, easy to install, no leaks, but at all three GPM settings it only covers a small area of the body. I'm an average size person and it only covers the middle of my back. It thus is not a pleasant shower experience.Perhaps if it came in a mist version or setting it could get wider coverage. It is lame that most shower heads don't even go as low as 1 GPM, let alone 0.5 GPM like this one. I applaud this company's low GPM options...but the spray width/body coverage needs to be increased.

Great adjustable control to low flows
Very pleased with this, offers nice control of flow to low levels and allow me to take a steamy hotter shower for longer with less water and energy use. The spray pattern is a bit wide but that works for my medium-sizes shower stall because I am close to the shower head. It is super easy to turn it up when you want more flow to rinse and then turn it down when you want minimal flow to lather up. Thumbs up on this showerhead

Perfect for water conservation
First off it is not CHROME. I got a white version. TO THE COMPANY: If you are going to ship whichever color you have in stock, "color may vary" note that on the product page. I went back and read the product description, it says "red", picture of chrome...For that reason alone, I would give this 1 star. For the shower head itself, once installed it performs as expected, very low flow on the .5gpm setting. Too low for people who are not serious about conserving water. It is ideal for wetting and soaping up.The 1.0gpm and 1.5gpm would be fine for rinsing and still conserving water. The water comes out of 10 holes in the center of the shower head, dispersing to over a foot wide 2 ft from the head. On the narrow side but still fine. The water is pulsating, broken streams, I prefer this over the solid, stinging, sandpaper feeling of other low flow shower heads. The wife and kids love to lounge in a steaming hot shower daily, I can't afford the water bill associated with a 2.5gpm shower head. The wife agrees, the kids don't know yet, but it is here to stay. This thing will pay for itself in a week!If you truly want to save water this shower head will work, no it won't match the power of others but it's not suppose to.Plus it's better for the environment where usable water is being depleted faster than replenished. I also installed low flow aerators on all the facets.

Install correctly
I purchased this shower head and I quickly installed it using Teflon tape and hand tightening. While the shower head worked well, it did leak a bit. I initially thought the use of plastic for the coupling was the culprit. However, I removed the shower head and the Teflon tape to try again. This time, I did it correctly. After I removed the tape to reapply, I used a small wire brush to thoroughly clean the threads before taping with Teflon tape. I was surprised at how much crud came out of the threads, even though it wasn't immediately obvious after removing the old shower head. After retaping the threads, the shower head worked without leaks. I have no issues with the shower head turning at the joint when adjusting the flow. All in all, I think this is a great product for the price. I really like the flow options.... the .5 gal setting works great to keep a warm trickle flow on you while soaping up should you be inclined to take "navy" style showers (totally stopping the water while soaping up). I rarely used the 1.5 gallon setting, the 1 gallon setting it more than enough for me. This shower head is a bargain at the price.

Easy to install and high quality
We live in Alaska and pay 11cents a gallon to have our water delivered. Every gallon used counts! I like the shower head. It looks solid and it was easy to install. I’ll find out in the next few weeks if it is saving some water. It would be nice to be able to take a bit longer hot shower when it is -40 out!
User
Odd spray pattern, goes everywhere
It does limit the amount of water but the spray pattern is not good. The water comes out like a wide rain shower and goes everywhere. It’s hard to make it stay in a concentrated area.

effectively saves water
saves water no doubt but my husband dislikes the pressure difference
User
