Great valve
Bought this bit to match existing cabinet doors. It worked great on the 2 doors I made out of 3/4 solid oak.I used it in my 1hp shaper and found it nicely balanced.I don't think you can go wrong for the money.I made 2 passes and the finished result looks great. The bit included 3 shims and I used 2 of them between the bearing to ajust the tongue on the panel to fit in my door frame.

Great Set!
Smooth cuts, great price. This is my first set of rail and stile bits. There is a bit of a learning curve but after a few test runs, I felt very comfortable with the process and was able to batch out 4 doors for a cabinet that I'm building. All 4 fit together nicely and after a little sanding look very professional. Highly Recommended.

Good, less expensive alternative
I am just a woodworker with a home shop, so I don't make doors too frequently. But when I do, I need a good set of bits that won't break the bank. These bits seem very well made. There is a generous amount of carbide and the non-cutting surfaces are coated to minimize pitch buildup. The machined surfaces are accurately ground and the shanks stayed secure in my router. My rails fit perfectly into my stiles, and the panels fit perfectly into their grooves. I really cannot tell a difference between doors made with these bits and doors I have made using much more expensive bits.

As Good as Any Other Router Bits I Own
This is a nice set of three, 1/2-inch router bits. The are very heavy duty and came extremely sharp. They are made of C3 Carbide and are Teflon coated for better heat resistance.Since these are so hefty, MABCO states that these should only be used on a table router with at least 2 1/4 horsepower. After handling and using these, I totally agree. This set of bits are precisely made to fit each other so that the rails and stiles fit will fit well together. The shank measures exactly 1/2-inch as well.Great bits at a great price!
