Good activator
It was a very good activator. It is a big amount so it can last long enough to make a good few slimes. I found with other activators that they either didnโt work or it took the whole bottle to make a slime but with this one a little goes a long way. Overall I thought it was great value as you get a lot and good quality I would recommend this activator. Unlike some others this one isnโt sticky and is more liquid and water like.

Works, after a fashion
Works pretty well. Used this with some translucent pva glue from the kids stationary shop on the high street and it took a few small measures to get working. We had added a bit of acrylic kids paint and along with it being see through glue that might be why it took a while to work. Needed a lot of stirring. Iโm sure contact lens cleaning solution worked better 5 years back when we last made slime. Knocking off a point for the need to re-add and lots of stirring.

Doesnโt work
Didnโt work for us at all. We tried different measures for the PVA glue and slowly put in activator bit by bit and not once did it work! 1litre wasted on different tries

Works but needs bicarb to get it going!
TLDR; If it's not working, mix in a little bicarbonate of soda! Like a few people on here, this did not work for us. We tried a little then a lot, nothing but runny PVA. We used ordinary PVA glue and PVA bonding from Screwfix - neither worked. I read on here that someone said mix in some bicarb so I thought I'd try it. The results were dramatic! So, pour in your PVA, mix any colours you want, then sprinkle bicarb over it (we put 1 to 2 tsp of bicarb for a cup of PVA) mix it thoroughly first - then add the activator a few drops at a time and keep mixing and it will turn to slime. If it's too sticky, add a bit more activator. We found pouring a little in a bowl and kneading the slime in your hands. If it's sticking to your fingers dip it in the activator and keep kneading in your hands until it doesn't stick to your fingers but is slimy. Add too much and you'll end up with a solid chunk!
