Angelique’s passion for organic products began in the 80’s, when she and her mother co-founded Nature’s Marketplace Nutrition, a health food store in North Bend, Washington. In addition to being a successful public speaker and business coach, she studied herbs, nutrition and loved helping people with their health. “Farming was also an important part of our family heritage. My father was an organic farmer who grew a special appellation of grapes in his homeland, Greece so we have a long history of working with the land. Serving the natural products industry is a passion for us and we are honored we can be good stewards of our planet. We are Certified Organic growers, Certified Organic processors and Certified Pollinator protectors – all a part of what we do to ensure our customers get the best." Angelique originally founded Bodyceuticals with a focus on using the calendula flower in skincare products. She grew the business organically and successfully expanded her business to achieve nationwide distribution, with happy repeat health food retailers, spas, practitioners and individual followers throughout the United States. The Bodyceuticals team now includes herbalists and formulators along with an education and customer service team to support retailers on a national level. Bodyceuticals is a USDA Certified Organic grower/producer and also is a USDA Certified Organic processor/manufacturer. Their own organic calendula fields are located in the beautiful Snoqualmie Valley, in the agriculture region of Western Washington. The farm and apiary is privately owned and managed by the Saffle family. Here they grow and harvest the antioxidant-rich calendula flowers that they put in their products. “Getting back to my family’s farming roots is personally rewarding and something we are very proud of. It’s a blessing to offer these amazing flowers in some way to our customers. Through the years, I have personally witnessed some incredible experiences from “flower power”!
