Great tool
This has been a great addition to our shop. It is intuitive to use and much safer than our old tool.

Awesome tool!!!
Received this quicker than expected. This is the most safe and effective way to work with struts and springs. I have used less expensive methods only to be in fear of my safety. I used to drive 10 miles to use my friends Branick Srut compressor. Now that I have my own, I get things done quicker and safer which means more money in my pocket.

An essential tool for any full service shop
I first had a clam-shell model compressor at first. This tool has made changing strut a whole lot easier and safer! I have used it on Chrysler Minivans, Toyota Corollas and Camrys and even on Infinity Q's.The only set back to this tool is that some strut models are off set and you will need a impact swivel joint to loosen and tighten the strut with an air gun.

Great Machine
What were we thinking doing struts with our old machine. Grabbing just the spring takes away the problems of an angled base or slotted upper mount hole, and feel safe doing even the toughest struts. It's also heavy duty, thick guage, not a toy.

we have this and an OTC in the shop, each has its pros and cons, i wish this one locked onto the spring like the OTC does, but i like the compressor on this one better

This spring compressor is a complete overkill that makes the task almost too easy. Its fit and finish are excellent. Best to have it mounted high, in a post or a wall, but if you like me, use it only once in a blue moon just store it away. It can be easily used by placing it over a small platform between couple of "work horses" in a way that let the shock absorber assembly be removed from the bottom.

Great piece of equipment. I own an auto repair shop and this has made our job much easier and safer. It is the "Cadillac" of spring compressors! Should have purchased one a long time ago...

i wish i had this before
i have looking at for a couple years,but didn't have the extra money. i do have two other strut tools but neither could do the jobi needed on a full size truck, so that is when i decided to buy the Branick 7400 spring strut compressor.I have used it and love it so easy to use, and alot more safe to use
