I had been looking to replace our old electric blanket which had become lumpy and looking jaded. One of the first things I noticed with new ones is that the wattage is lower than the existing blanket, Actually half the amount so this would take twice as long to heat up. Anyhow after great deliberation, I decided to go for this one. It is nicely packaged with a zip bag which is useful for storing other stuff. The blanket is a stretch fit on to the mattress with no awkward ties to bother with and it does stay in place as you would like it to. the cables come out at the pillow area so the controls are easily at the bedside with no lumps to cause you discomfort. Being dual control it is easy to have " his and her" settings to suit. Now as I already suspected it does take longer to warm up for a given time, but we have altered our habits so as this is not too much of a problem now, just remembering to put it on half an hour before bedtime instead of the usual fifteen minutes. However, because the blanket is so soft, fluffy and warming without being turned on, getting the bed hot is not so much of a problem because it feels cosy even when off. The controls are quite easy to operate. If you require different heat levels for your feet or body, If like me you like to have warmer feet in comparison to the body temperature it is easy to alter to your liking and then it turns off after an hour (or up to 9 hours). The actual blanket is so comfortable to lie on as there is no element ridges or cable connectors to stick in you. Also, we have found, that although you can be hot in bed (NO, not like that!), it is a nice sort of heat, not sweaty or clammy as often happens with modern foam mattresses. So, all in all, we would recommend this type of blanket as it is extremely comfortable and not badly priced. The only downside for me is that I am more reluctant to get out of bed in the morning.

Very impressed with every aspect of this electric blanket, KEY POINTS:- Fits my Super Kingsize bed perfectly and easily with the built in stretch mattress cover. Great versatility with twin detachable remote controls, with long leads. Comfortable to lay on. Good 4 zone heating for body and feet for you both. Many heat and timer settings. Quick to heat up. Comes in handy storage bag for when not in use. I can’t fault this product, it’s certainly value for money. Handy informative instruction booklet making it easy to install and fit. Well done Sweet dreams, I give it 11 out of 10 marks.

This is an all round fine electric blanket for a super king bed. It has a soft teddy bear fur feel to it which helps keep the bed warm even when it isn't on. It warms up quickly and gets warmer than some other blankets I've had. My niggles with it are really aesthetic, like a little bit more thought would have gone a long way. The timer goes to 9 hours and I think 12 would have been better. Sometimes if I've had the blanket on a bit before bed time I'll forget to turn it off and on again before I go to sleep and then it turns off some time in the early hours and I wake up without it on. If you want to turn it on in the early hours you best hope your partner isn't a light sleeper as the switch to turn it on and the buttons to adjust temp and time are relatively loud in the wee small hours. Finally the control is back-lit with a bright blue light, this is fine during the day, a bit harsh during the night! All in all though a good purchase, I have a deep mattress and it fits the mattress with no problem. Because the skirt of the blanket is shiny it does cause my bottom sheet to ride up constantly, so get some bottom sheet clips or be prepared to adjust your bottom sheet every day. Despite the niggles I'm glad I have it. The ability to control each side separately is great when you're sharing a bed with a human radiator and the ability to control the body and feet part separately also helps when you have ice blocks for feet!

Good quality. Bed nice and warm but you need to put it on for at least 30mins before bedtime. It does move around a little but not sure if it's the mattress material.

This blanket is amazing, dual controls, nine different heat levels, heat different areas separately, off timer..........couldn't wish for more !! It takes about an hour to heat up fully, longer than I expected, but it is not a problem. It is very comfortable to lay on, the quilt really makes it very soft to sleep on. My husband and I both get into bed and say Ahhh as we lay down, it is such a nice feeling !!!!! I had a problem with one of the controllers which was working intermittently, and was ready to return the item. I contacted the seller and after confirming the problem, sent out a new controller on a next day delivery, all works fine now. Fantastic service and wouldn't think twice about buying from this seller again. All in all a Great purchase.

We really liked the way the under blanket fitted on the bed, covering the whole mattress and with fastening around the mattress like a fitted sheet. The fabric was very soft and felt luxurious. However, it took nearly an hour to warm on the highest setting (9) - which seemed a lot less warm than it should have for the highest setting. We felt there would be very little difference in the temperature functionality between the settings and would not provide the value for money we anticipated when purchasing it.

Where has this been all my life! I had an old -fashioned view that electric blankets were not safe and were uncomfortable to sleep on. Definitely not the case with this electric blanket. It is soft to lie on and is made to a very high standard. We have had it a few days now and have found the controls quick and easy to operate and the blanket quick to heat up. We chose this particular blanket so that feet can be warm and body not so hot. I must say it is a triumph. The first night we set the foot zone to 6 and the body zone to 4 and we both found it too hot for comfort. We are now setting 5 and 4 which seems to be working better for us. There are no cold no-go areas which weren't reached by the hot water bottle. For those of us who wake and feel chilly in the early morning it is so easy just to give another hour and nod off in comfort again. I did this at 6 o'clock this morning and went it to a deep sleep so beware if you have to be up early! I would thoroughly recommend this electric blanket as a comfort to look forward to after being in a chilly house all day.
