Denix 1869 Schofield Style Revolver, Brass and Black - Non-Firing Replica

I was hesitant about getting one of these after looking at the reviews. But I'm glad I took the chance.It looks amazing. And they seem to have fixed the problems others have had with the break action.A lot of gun for your buck, too. Very hefty.

I really like it. The workmanship is not a clean as I hoped it would be. However, it is a nice replica. I am happy to own it. It is a piece that I have wanted for some time. In reality, it is a replica of a 1869 firearm. They were not that slick and pretty. It is pretty realistic for that reason.

The product by far exceeded all my expectations. I will admit, upon reading some reviews I was a bit hesitant however luckily my gamble proved to be worth it thank you so much!

Item broke within a few months. Company states there’s a lifetime warranty, however can not figure out how to get the company to honor that warranty

Cool product. Came in pretty loose and will have to be tightened up. Heavy duty, though, & great for display.

Nickle finish makes revolver resemble a 1950s Cap Pistol. Action very rough, and barrel release extremely stiff . First remove all Nickel finish with 220 grit, 800 grit sandpaper,and "000" steel wool. Pour oil into the action, cock the hammer, and pull trigger. Repeat process until action works smoothly.Oil barrel release, pull hammer back to the first "click". Pull back and up, apply hand pressure to barrel until barrel swings downward. Now, you have a great looking and smooth operating Schofield.8

This was a gift for my grandson he loved it.

The DENIX 1869 SCHOFIELD STYLE REVOLVER,BRASS AND BLACK is a really cool gun. The revolver feels like a real firearm. The barrel turns and you can also pull the trigger . Denix really does make lifelike weapons. I would definitely buy another gun from them.
