It’s incredibly powerful yet surprisingly compact, which made installation much easier than I expected for a 1500W unit. Despite the huge power output, the PSU runs basically silent even during gaming and stress tests, the fan barely kicks on. The cables are really nice quality too. They’re braided, flexible, and clean, which makes cable management so much easier. Corsair also includes every cable you could possibly need and extra options for different setups, so you’re fully covered no matter what your build requires. Power delivery is stable, efficiency is great, and iCUE monitoring works perfectly for checking power draw and temps. Overall, this is an incredibly well built, reliable, and overkill in a good way PSU. If you want something small, powerful, silent, and loaded with premium braided cables, the HX1500i is perfect.
