Perfect Prunes
Clean, dried just right, organic prunes - all I could ask for. I wish people who want very moist or "wet" dried fruit would not give low reviews just because this dried fruit is actually dry. If I open a package of prunes and they are very moist, I worry about keeping ability since mold, yeast and bacteria can grow on wet food and it is the dryness of dried fruit that preserves it. I also know that if dried fruit is too wet I am paying for that extra water. Keep two things in mind when eating nicely dried fruit: 1. You can always soak your fruit a while right before eating if you really want it wet. 2. How about a little chewing and jaw exercise? I see all kinds of contraptions out there for exercising our jaws because our food is overly soft - just eat your dried fruit dry! These are great prunes. I'll be getting more.

Great Product! I stew them in microwave and yum!!!
These are great organic prunes. I usually stew them in a large coffee cup in the microwave and it helps them maximize digestive benefits if you want them for more than just snacking. ;)I just stick as many as will fit in a large mug (maybe 10-12) and cover them with water leaving about 3/4 of an inch from the top so they don’t spill over. And then I microwave them in increments of 30 seconds or one minute at a time (but be careful not to go longer than that or they will boil over and /or burn). I keep a microwave near my desk so I just take a break and let them rest before hitting them up for another minute. Let them cool between hearings and repeat this like 5 times and you have stewed prunes without using a stove. Throw the mug in the fridge and enjoy them for a few days!! They get super sweet and gooey so I only eat 3 or 4 at a time for a good serving fur breakfast or just as a snack. They’re also good right from the bag.CAUTION: sometimes there will be one or two in the bag with a pit....so bite carefully!!!.

It is a win-win!
I have always liked prunes but hesitate to buy them because I don't always eat them all and touching them sometimes feels gross because they can be slimy. But I had read something about maybe eating prunes might help a health condition that I have so I thought I'd give it a go again. Glad to have ordered these as they are good and they are not slimy. So yay as hopefully they'll help me heal my health problem as well, but in the meantime I'm enjoying them as a snack.

NOT GLUTEN FREE.
NOT GLUTEN FREE. FALSE ADVERTISING. the package i received says “processed on equipment that also processed wheat”. the package showed in the listing photos does not have that disclaimer. this is super dangerous to people with allergies. and they’re not returnable so i’m out the money i spent & stuck with food i can not eat.

The organic prunes I prefer always come with mold so I started buying this brand. Every time I eat these I get sick and throw up. I just don't get it, I won't buy again.

Tasty, but dry
These are tasty and I love that they are organic. But they are drier than I would prefer. If you have bought Newmans Own, which are gooey, these are not. But they are also not as soft.

Advertised as a 2 pack but arrived as a single
These are advertised as a 2 pack but arrived with pinky one bag of prunes. Love the product and have purchased it multiple times however buyer beware that some of them might arrive as single packs.

Tastiest prunes
These are the tastiest prunes out there!I have tried many brands including Newman's Own Organic Prunes, Whole Foods organic prunes and Looney Pruney California Organic Prunes. If you can't get Woodstock prunes, get Looney Pruney, they are the second best.
