Boys from Syracuse

This is a witty, tuneful show, one all who create musicals could learn from. Not their best, but pretty good.

Saw a live production in 1963, age 12, was slowly falling in love with musicals. The songs are heart-warming, fun, quite singable.

This is one of Rodgers and Hart's best scores, amazingly energetic and tuneful. I normally shudder at the idea of time travel, but I would make an exception if given the chance to go back to 1938 and experience opening night at this powerhouse musical.
