I had been using a OBD scanner for almost 2 years now, and I was quite excited to get my hands on this new K120 and test it out.It has a nice packaging ,clear user manual, the device weighs just over one pound and can easily fit in a hand, it comes packed in a carrying case that doubles up as a storage facility.With this K120, you won’t have to spend time and money visiting the shop just to get an engine diagnostic scan.Pros:- Connects to a vehicle easily and quickly- Supports virtually all OBD2 vehicles, including hybrids and diesel engine cars.- I/M hotkey for emissions inspection.- Comes with a carrying case – I really like this good quality hard carry case.- Free software updates for the product’s lifetime- Battery health check function(other OBD scanner don’t have this function)Cons:- Sadly, Limited functionality. Doesn’t access any systems apart from engine and emission systems, You can’t use it for SRS, ABS, transmission and other system diagnostics. So if you’re looking for a full system scanner this one will disappoint. (But the function is enough for normal car owners)Additional Notes:- I haven't test it on any hybrid vehicles because I don’t have one, it works perfectly on my my 2011 Toyota Sienna and 2009 BMW 330i.Overall, this K120 is perfect for a car owner. It allows you to identify minor engine problems by yourself. If you're looking for a OBD2 code reader for your car, I would strongly recommend this Karfans product.

This is yet another excellent budget minded scan tool. For the price, it's like you're buying the case, and getting the scan tool for free! It is without a doubt an exceptional value! Performance wise, it gets the job nicely. As with other scan tools in this price range, don't expect any fancy features. It is as basic as basic comes, but if that's all you need, you're good to go. The device itself feels sturdy, and fits comfortably in your hands. I like the fact that it's not overly thick, which I've found common with other scan tools in this price range. The user interface is easy to work through and speed is acceptable for the tasks it performs. It is only available in English, so if you need a multilingual unit, this may not be the right tool for you. If on the other hand, English is the only language you need, this is an ideal scan tool to keep in your glove box or use as a loaner. As long as you know what you're getting, it's limitations and how to use it properly, you can't go wrong with this unit.

Codes are a bit difficult to understand, plugs in easily. Wish it was a bit easier to understand.

Excellent Car Diagnostic Tool. I bought the K120 Scanner for my car to find the problem before taking our vehicles to the auto shop for repair. The scanner allows me to identify minor problems before they become major repair bills. Taking a car to the mechanic for just a diagnostic can be costly. This can definitely save you money in the future on simple fixes.The scannerThis product is a great product and worth the extra money over the cheaper scanners. This product is worth the money. Connected to my vehicle easily, quickly and flawlessly following the provided manuals instructions. The product is simple to use and was able to read trouble codes, provide quick information on the trouble codes and delete the codes all very easily. The menu layout on the screen is easy to understand and I had no trouble figuring out how to do what I needed.

This product looks as described. I bought it for $29.99 and was disappointed a week later when I went to purchase another and saw a $10 price increase. Not worth it for $39.99 and didnt appreciate the price increase because of the positive feedbacks. alot of scanners out there works just as well or better for under $39.99. Hence my 3 stars.Update 15-Sep-2018Tried doing an online upgrade. Device will not connect to PC or enter update mode. Contact Customer Service yet no response. They however found time to email me when I have a 3 stars review. Have to no drop some stars base on product not being able to update and poor customer service

This product is one of the best auto scan tools which I have ever used and well worth the price.It worked great on my 2002 Honda Civic. The live data is great for checking all the vehicle sensors, and it can even graph the data in real time. Very cool product. It is very well built, feels sturdy, and the buttons are very good and strong. The color screen display is very sharp, bright, and crisp. User manual is great, and easy to read and comprehend. You can get free updates online to update the scanner. You can save the error codes to read them back later, and you can print the saved data or graphs through a PC.

When i bought this product in the desciption says thats a Professional Scanner and that the product its easy and lifetime updates.But the Product its very very Basic even dont have a online page to support theres a broken link to other page for system update that download a file that dont work.The price that i paid US $ 39.99 its much for what i receive
