Corsair also includes every cable you could possibly need and extra options for different setups, so you’re fully covered no matter what your build requires. In order to power that beast, I need another beast capable of putting out more than 1200 watts to be on the safe side. I decided to go with this Corsair HX1500i fully modular PSU. One nice thing about the HX1500i is that is follows the very latest ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 standards for modern PSU design. This HX1500i does come with one 12VHPWR cable that can deliver over 800 watts to an RTX 5090 graphics card that is being overclocked if needed. I have put this HX1500i to the test by playing both Cyberpunk 2077 in 8K with RayTracing Overdrive mode (Path Tracing) and with DCS World using the Quest Pro in VR. The HX1500i remains very steady under load while also keeping noise to a minimum. So far, after almost a year, the HX1500i has been a five star experience.

The Corsair HX1500i is hands down one of the best power supplies I’ve ever used. It’s incredibly powerful yet surprisingly compact, which made installation much easier than I expected for a 1500W unit. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Powerful and Super Quiet PSU

Powerful and Super Quiet this PSU rocks. Save for one feature I would have liked to see is a power on LED light. The company states the fan will spin temporarily when you plug it in to let you know it is receiving power but an LED light would be exact and on and noticable every time. If your not looking at the fan you might miss the power on spin, then you think the PSU has an issue. Other than that small detail, it is SUPER Quiet and very powerful, great power saving technology as well. If your running power hungry equipment in your pc, this is a fantastic PSU to handle the load and doing it quietly. Cables are high quality and you can connect the PSU to a USB header to monitor your power as well, pretty slick feature I gotta say.
