登山で融雪水や沢水の浄水に使用。浄水時間がかかりますがペットボトル2本あれば簡単に浄水。軽量化に。

まだ試してませんし、実戦で使う機会がないので使用してませんが、処理能力は申し分無いと思います。災害時、風呂の水を使用出来るかと思います

腹壊す前に、これ使ってください。

沢水を飲むのに必要。 谷川岳の雪渓・水場などで使用した。 雪渓の上に熊のウンコっぽいのあったんだよなー。 別途、ソフトウォーターボトルが必要です。 ペットボトル互換のキャップなので何にでも使えます。 抽出速度は決して早い方では無いが、まあ毎日使うわけでもないし。 他に色んなメーカーが出してますが、ソーヤーは安い方。 他は6000円～それ以上が相場ですね。

この２年間で３台購入しましたが、買う度に価格が下がってます。 一昨年の秋は４０００円以上でしたが、昨冬の異常寒波の凍結破裂による福岡南部の水道インフラダウン時は４０００円を切り、昨春熊本地震後は３４００円、更に３３００円と価格が下がり、この度の朝倉・日田豪雨災害後に見たら２９００円（H29/7/10時点）。 ぜひ、無駄になることを承知で、各家庭に１台常備しておくことをお勧めしたい！と言えるレベルの価格帯になったのを機に、つい自らも４台目を購入してしまった次第です。 近隣地域の災害の度に本器を購入している自分がいるわけですが、便乗値上げなど今のところ皆無なのが好ましい。 実際は本器ソーヤーミニを(災害・非常時用としては)一度も使うことなく（旅行・登山用の１台は別として）、風呂の溜め水や自衛隊の給水を利用して間に合わせて来たわけですが、混沌とした今の世は何が起こるか分からない。 そんな中で、本器を持つことが、得も言われぬ安心感を与えてくれて、精神衛生上とても良いことは実感としてあります。 例えば、化学物質や放射性物質による水汚染に対して、色々勉強してゼオライトやヨード剤、珪藻土や活性炭など、各種ろ過助剤を利用した予備ろ過装置を自作しなければならない局面でも、ろ過の最終仕上げ装置としての本器が有ると無いでは大違いなわけです。 災害用としては、まず使う機会がないとしても、万一の時に出水口につけて重力で自動ろ過できるので タイガースポリマー シリコンチューブ カット品 7mm×10mm 1M を同時購入し、同梱保存しておくのがお勧めです。 取水口にはほとんどのＰＥＴボトルがねじ込めるので、ボトルの底を適当に切り抜いて、縁をガムテなどで補強し、穴をあけてヒモで吊るせば簡易重力式浄水装置（点滴のような災害対策の大量処理用ろ過装置）が出来ますから特に予め容器を準備しておく必要は感じませんが、その装置の作成に不可欠な適当な口径や長さを持つシリコンチューブなどはそう簡単にはゲットできない可能性が高いですから。 先にちょっと触れた通り、個人的には、最初に買った１台目は山歩きやキャンプ（自然公園付属や無人島の無料キャンプ場では、結構、生水飲用不可な井戸利用のサイトも散見される）や海外旅行で使ってますが、使うときは単体でシエラカップなどに注いだ山や現地の水を、ソーヤー本体をストローみたいに用いて、直接吸って飲んで済ますことが多い。 この類のシステムはシンプルに運用でき、（持ち歩くにしても、緊急用に常備するにしても）荷物にならずパーツも少ないほど良いと考えているから、付属のパウチについてもソーヤーミニシステムとは切り離し、単なる水筒として別個に活用してる感じ。 それでも、ろ過器にケーキ（ろ滓）が溜まると目詰まりにより急激に必要なろ過圧が増し、やがては全く使えなくなるので、長期逗留時や災害時はプランジャー（逆洗用注水器）だけは必要不可欠ですね。 因みに、個人的には、逆洗の際に多少水がこぼれてもどうってことないので、直接プランジャーを出水口に押し付けてやってます。 理由は、機器の間に管なんかをかますと、濁りが強い泥水や藻水などで使用し、盛大に溜まったケーキを何度も洗浄する必要がある場合、管の抜き挿しに手間取るし、くにゃくにゃと扱いにくいし、そもそもプランジャー口内のスクリューは先端まで切られていないので、ソーヤーのテーパー状の出水パイプを嵌めて押し付け両パーツをほぼ一体化させるだけで十分逆洗に必要な圧力が得られ、使い勝手も良い設計になってるみたいだからです。 プランジャーのピストンを押すと、ソーヤーの入水口から汚れとともにピューッと逆洗水が噴出するので、排水が澄んできれいになるまでそれを何度もちゃっちゃかと繰り返すことで、十分洗浄されて行くはずです。 とは言え、上水道水や井戸水、湧き水、沢水のように澄んだ水が豊富にあるなら、ソーヤー本体とプランジャーを短いホースで連結し、吸い上げと逆洗を連続反復するのも良い洗浄方法ですから、短い連結用シリコンホース（上記ホースを１．５～２ｃｍほどカットしたもので十分、と言うかこれ以上の長さだとかえって使いづらい）をプランジャー先端に装着し携帯しておくと運用の自由度が増します。 例えば、５００ｍｌにつき１０往復と手間がかかりますが、プランジャーで吸い上げろ過した浄水を水筒などに移す用途にも、この小さな連結パーツは有用だと思います。 何れにせよ、一仕事終わったら、プランジャーのシリンダーからピストンを抜いて拭いて乾かしておくと万全ですね。 ちょっと力を入れて抜くと、ピストンはポンと音を立てて簡単に抜けます。 なお、メーカーでは逆洗用の水には、本機でろ過した水以外は用いないように指示されています（水道水は不可らしいが、高級な家庭用浄水器でろ過した水なら大丈夫だと、個人的には認識してますが、どうでしょう？）。 また、ろ過水の温度は５℃～４０℃が推奨範囲で、６０℃以上の水や凍結環境では中空糸膜が破壊される可能性があると警告されています。つまり、熱湯消毒などはもっての外ってことで、これも要注意です。 ろ過膜の機械強度の優秀さは謳われてますが、耐溶剤性能については触れられてないようなので、長期保存の殺菌のためにエチルアルコールで逆洗するのも、脱石灰のために酢酸やクエン酸で、あるいは脱高分子や脱油脂のためにリモネン（ろ過器の洗浄に多用される柑橘類の皮の成分を含む洗剤）でリンスするのも、止めといた方が良いかも知れませんね。 個人的には、マニュアル通りに本器によるろ過水で何度も逆洗した後、取り込み口を下に向け、逆洗と同様の手順で空気を何度か通して内部の水気を飛ばし、 湿気とり 水とりぞうさん たっぷり吸い取る吸湿量さらにアップ！550mlx12個セット（3個パックx4） 湿気取り みたいな安価な乾燥剤を入れた必要最小限のサイズの密閉容器に開栓したままの本機をポンと放り込んで密閉保存してますが、今のところ数カ月の長期保存でもカビ臭くなったりしてないようです。 最後に濾過性能に関してですが、これはメーカーデータを信じるしかありません。 ポアサイズは最悪でも０．１μｍが保証されてますが、この孔径は全てのバクテリアや微生物よりはるかに小さいので、米国環境保護局の病原排除率基準をバクテリア（コレラ菌、ボツリヌス菌、チフス菌、アメーバ赤痢菌、大腸菌、大腸菌群、連鎖球菌、サルモネラ菌など）で１０倍、微生物（ジアルジア、クリプトスポリジウム、サイクロスポラなど）で１０００倍もの能力で上回り、余裕でこの基準をクリアしている模様です。 但し、ウイルスの大きさは０．０２μｍ～１μｍとこの孔径より更に微小なものも多いので、ウィルスに関してはろ過出来ないものも出てくるでしょう。 でも、ウィルス自体は自然界では何かの細胞（大腸菌とか）に寄生しないと長く活動できないので、水のウィルス汚染に対してもソーヤーには、もちろん完璧ではないとしても、相当な有効性があるのではないかと思います。 バイオ・テロなどに対しても、手洗いとマスク、そしてソーヤーミニはシンプルかつ低コストだからこそ最も有効な自衛手段になるかも知れませんね。 ３８万リットル（１０万米ガロン）と言えば、２５ｍプール一杯にあたりますから、毎日２０リットルポリタンク分をろ過しても５０年も使えるわけで、超安価だし、洗浄剤がろ過水のみでろ材繊維へのミネラルや油分、藻などに含まれる高分子等々の沈積が妨げられ、永くメーカーの能書き通りの耐久性が得られるのなら評価は☆１０でも足りないほどです。 でも、これらの能書きの検査方法が調べた限りでは開示されてないみたいなので、正直、俄かに信じ難い。 なので、更なる説明努力をお願いしたいって意味で☆４にしておきました。 耐薬品特性や３８万リットルろ過を達成するのに必要な技術的条件に関する説明開示も含めての改善お願いです。 仮の話ではありますが、もし蒸留水など純水を３８万リットル通過させたと言うだけの話なら、それはろ材の機械強度を示しているにすぎず、ろ過器としての性能の証とは言えないわけですから・・・。

Tomo mucha agua, hasta 4 litros al día. El garrafón de agua de 20 litros cuesta 38 pesos en la tienda. Con un consumo diario de 4 litros estamos hablando de 228 pesos al mes y 2,736 pesos al año. Con este producto tomo agua limpia gratis. Tomando agua de la llave ya no me preocupa que me voy a enfermar ya que este producto filtra 99.99999% de las bacterias y protozoas existentes en el agua. Lo que no filtra son los virus. Pero es raro que haya virus en el agua de la llave. Tampoco filtra sustancias químicas como fluor, etc. Para filtrar virus y contaminantes químicos, uno necesita otro tipo de filtro. Cuando mejore mi presupuesto, pienso comprar otro filtro que filtra todo. Pero por ahora, este filtro Sawyer Mini Filter me sirve de maravilla. Este producto es para uso de toda la vida ya que tiene garantía para 100,000 galones (378,000 litros). Con mi consumo diario de 4 litros, este filtro me duraría por 258 años!

What a great little product, small lie weight and practical, that's what you want any day of the week on the trail. The only downside is, I found the squeeze bag (16 oz) a little too small for my liking, constantly need to fill up and filter. A large squeezy bag would be ideal.

So, this is probably the best in this class of water filters. I have a LifeStraw, a LifeStraw water bottle, an MSR (I think) travel filter (awful). This Sawyer is the best of them. There is no messing about with it, it just works. It comes with a collapsible pouch, which is nice because it makes it easier to drink from if you squeeze the container. It will also connect to standard disposable water bottles, if you prefer that or happen to have one. It comes with a straw, which is nice, so you can drink directly without the pouch, but you are pretty much lying on the ground to make that happen. One thing about the pouch, because it's flexible, if you submerse it in water, it will collapse and push the air out without taking water in. So, you just have to inflate it with your mouth, and try to scoop water into it. Kind of a pain in the butt. Also, if there is any air in the container when you attach the filter, you can't just drink from it like a straw, because you will just get air. So, bottoms up! I also have a Platypus 2L bag which this does plug into. Not sure if I can use it in-line, but I can definitely use it as a gravity filter with this Sawyer, so that's a nice option. As for flavour, I haven't tried it with really dirty water yet, just clean flowing streams, here in Ontario, but it is delicious. This is the best for the price point.

Ce filtre est surprenant. Il filtre a 0.1 microns alors que des filtres a 350 euro sont encore a 0.2 microns Une capacite de filtrage hallucinante (378,5 m3 ca represente une duree de vie de plus de 378 000 litres...). Il y a un pas de vis qui permet de visser dessus des bouteilles de type Coca/Soda et ces bouteilles, vides, se compriment super facilement dans un sac. Cela permet donc d'emporter une bouteille qu'on ecrase bien, et on peut visser le filtre dessus sans probleme. Apres chaque filtrage, utiliser un peu de l'eau filtree pour nettoyer le filtre avec la seringue fournie. En mecanisme je l'utilise avec deux poches Platypus (celles que l'on peut ouvrir au sommet, et qu'on peut nettoyer facilement puisqu'on peut glisser la main dedans pour bien nettoyer dans les coins la poche interne). Dans une premiere poche de 2L je recupere l'eau. Le tube de la premiere poche va jusqu'au filtre Sawyer et sa sortie va dans une seconde poche de 2L. En fixant sur un arbre la premiere poche et par simple gravite, en 10 minutes je filtre 2 litres d'eau sans aucun effort. Le filtrage retire protozoaires et bacteries, et il ne me reste plus qu'a faire bouiller les 2L pendant 3 minutes en faisant 1 litre a chaque fois, et je depose chacun de ces litres dans une gourde 1L pour un emport total de deux litres : 1L de chaque cote du sac pour equilibrer la charge. Permet de se construire facilement avec du Platypus un mecanisme de filtrage par serie de 2L. Une duree de vie incroyable et un filtrage vraiment impressionnant. Attention : ne supporte PAS du tout le froid. Il faut absolument preserver le filtre du froid donc a conserver dans une poche interne de blouson pendant l'hiver pres du corps et a garder au chaud. Ne pas laisser le filtre tomber en temperature negative, car il est alors "foutu". Si vous randonnez l'hiver il faut faire attention sur ce point et proteger le filtre.

Got it delivered much before the expected delivery date. Product is fantastic. The seller sent it well packaged. I am using the filter. The flow was not there at the first time I tried sucking water through it. Just gave a min for the fibers inside to soak, and then it was a normal flow. Felt like drinking water from a wide straw. Its definitely effective. I am going to test the filter to purify muddy dirty water soon and will update on how well the filter purified it. Few people here complained that it wont filter out the viruses and its only 0.1 micron filter. well, Viruses are pretty rare in the water that you drink everyday. roadside hotels, certain places where the source of water is suspicious, this filter is more than sufficient to guarantee that u will be safe drinking that water. Unless u r drinking water from roadside drainage or some extremely dirty stagnant water, u don't really need a filter which can remove the viruses. If u are still concerned about the viruses, u can order water purifying pills available on amazon. the seller is Hind-Pharma and their tablets are absolutely amazing. Use the sawyer mini, remove all the bacteria and other nasty stuff from the water, drop a tablet in the water, wait for a while for it to work and drink the water. Its an absolute must for everyday use, during travelling, etc. One might feel awkward using it in India as people will definitely stare at u when u are using it, but hey, I don't care. My health is imp to me and clean water is must. I don't wanna be sick just because I drank some supposedly clean water. Its in my bugout backpack now. Ill order another to carry with me for everyday use
