Very good lens for Bokeh and artistic photography, swarfs when mounting and unmounting
I bought this for the Bokeh, in the Xiaomi 15 Ultra with the Neewer cage, works in the main lens super good quality, and also in the first telephoto but with some aberrations, but I like the aberrations hahaha. I was testing it with a friend that doesnt have any idea about photography, blur, bokeh or portrait modes, this also add the posibility to play with mist filters, or macro lens that add even more bokeh, of course this is more artistic, if you want a perfectly clear picture, better use just the main telephoto of your phone, this is for achieve DSLR kind of artistic quality. Something that I didnt like at all is the 17mm thread metal quality, it's strong and fit very well, but it creates "metal shavings" or "metal filings" or more technically, "swarf" (the debris produced when metal is cut, ground, or machined). How Neewer didn't add a good termination for this expensive lens, these swarfs are a real issue as they can scratch the lenses of the phone and lens itself, take care about that and never clean the lenses using pressure. Anyway It's a detail.

Heavy, beware when using Neewer Cage
It is shipped by Amazon, package and shipping time is as expected. Lens is a bit heavy, especially when you use it with Neewer phone cage with the slide-attach 17mm plate. make sure you hold the lens at all times where the 17mm plate may detach from the cage due to the weight. The lens hood is a snap-on, not screw on, which means you can attach your filter with the lens hood. See my picture with a CPL and lens hood together. I have a iPhone 16ProMax, attached this lens to 1X lens and 5x lens. both works fine except when you attach to 5x, it cannot get the correct focus and brightness automatically. Zooming in on 5x lens does not focus properly, see the pictures with building, it is about 50m away. All in all, product is good, make sure you pick up the phone cage as well.

I love Neewer 85mm lens
Excellent lens for my xiaomi 15, Neewer 85mm lens give a clear, sharp, and depth of field picture, No doubt Neewer is amazing brand, i love it.
