**Q: I purchased this product as well as the koji soap and amaira serum. can i use the both lotions at once? or will this cause any issues?**
A: Not sure about both lotions, but I thought I could use the soap and Koji White lotion and that was like omg negative. You’ll really feel the Koji burn if you do this. What works for me is using the soap in the morning and the lotion before bed, or I’ll use the lotion on days I don’t use the soap. Both seems to be showing some positive results, but the lotion has less Koji than the soap, of course. So, I’d use the soap more if you want faster results.

**Q: Does it bleach the skin?**
A: Hi I have not noticed any bleaching.  It is supposed to fade scars and dark areas that you would like to see lightened.  I only use it 2 weekly because it really dries out the skin.  Hopefully this helps!!

**Q: Will this bleach my skin ?**
A: It does not contain bleach, but it will help lighten skin tone with continuous use.

**Q: can i use this on my face?**
A: I wouldn’t recommend it. It’s not formulated for the face

*** LONG REVIEW FROM A SKINCARE SNOB *** I’ve been using this body lotion for a few weeks now, and I’m genuinely impressed with the results. My skin tone looks noticeably more even, and some of the stubborn dark spots on my body have started to fade. The lotion itself is lightweight and absorbs quickly, and doesn’t leave a greasy residue — which is a win for anyone who hates sticky skin in humid weather. Now, because I’m a skincare snob, I know a little something-something about kojic acid. It’s from fungi and works by inhibiting melanin production, making it a popular choice for fading hyperpigmentation and brightening dull skin, which I have both problems at times. What I love is that this lotion often comes packed with other nourishing ingredients like shea butter, rose hip oil, and vitamin K, which help keep the skin hydrated while they kojic acid does its thing. That said, it’s not a miracle overnight fix. You need to use it consistently, and results typically show after a few weeks, which is what happened in my case, at least. Also — and this is CRUCIAL — YOU MUST WEAR SUNSCREEN IF YOU USE THIS DURING THE DAY!!! Kojic acid makes your skin more susitive to UV rays, adn skipping SPF could undo all your progress or even cause irritation. A few extra perks that I’ve learned: * It works well on knees, elbows, and underarms. * It can be layered under heavier moisturizers for drier skin. * It smells pleasantly neutral (no overpowering fragrance/scent). Now, I docked one star because it can cause irritation if you have sensitive skin (like mine), which is not their fault, but I just wished they would have kept this in mind when formulating this product. I think it’s fair to mention that you should also use precautions when using this on freshly shaved areas. I would advise that patch testing should be your friend, here. However, overall, if you’re looking for a body lotion that does more than just moisturize — one that actually helps you achieve a brighter, more even complexion — this is a solid pick. Just be patient, consistent, and sun-smart.
