Q: I want to store documents in A4 pockets, how many pockets do these folders hold?

It depends on the contents in the pocketsI have stored 40 to 50 in some and in others I stored a whole packet of 100 as only 1 or 2 sheets in each pocketHope this helps

The "box" is a cover for a standard lever arch file (included). The box prevents the lever arch file from opening and makes it easier to stack on a shelf. The lever arch file has the standard mechanism for filing papers with two punched holes or alternatively you can use polythene covers which themselves have punched holes, to contain non-standard sized papers.

Q: Do they fold down for storage?

No, each lever arch file comes with its own separate box so that it can stand by itself (it is 6 separate boxes and not one single box to hold 6 files)
